Men's Basketball 1968 Uniforms Revealed

Love this jersey! I purchased mine from the MDen the other day when this was initially discussed on here for $125. Can't wait to get it. Looks like they're going fast. Definitely a cool jersey!

So if these sell better than the uniformz we've rolled out recently will Bottom-Line Brandon be more inclined to make future alternates more "classic" in nature and less "oh god my eyes"?

Those trappings pair well with a Michigan Man cager.

why we shouldn't keep these because honestly these are the best throwbacks we have ever worn in basketball and football.

Uniform for Michigan Basketball by far.  I wonder how the Team ranks these in comparison to the highlighters.

Actually, I will agree with others here - there's something amiss about these being the throwback uniforms. These would look really great as the uniform. Very, very nice. 

Is this Dave Brandon's way of saying, OK I HEARD YOU?  These are what uniforms should look like.  Simple, Elegant, Classy and easy to read.  I am however left wondering, who did Adidas out source these to. Also wondering can they be hired to fix the damage that Adidas has done to the Football jerseys.

Maybe Adidas can fix the hockey uniforms next to the cool ones Nike had about 10 years ago?

These are so nice. I just wish Adidas could put something like this together for our regular unis.

And of course the MDen doesn't have the shorts.

It'd be super interesting to know the ratio of love/hate on these uniforms vs. the nonsense we've seen (highlighters, invisible numbers, bumblebees, etc).  I'm guessing the later are the "leader/legends" equivalent.

What is that color between the blue borders on the trim?.

It seems strangely familiar.

By far, this is the best uniform we've had in a long time.  I actually like our current uniform and bought one for my son - looks great.  But it is still uniformz-esque.  THIS uniform, however, is perfect!  It is classy, uses maize not neon, great sock length/stripe, block M on the shorts (I'd like to see it slightly bigger).  The trim is well designed, and even the "belt" is contrasting color.

MOST OF ALL, IT'S UNIQUE!  I want Michigan to have its own uniform.  We are Michigan, fergodsakes.

Brandon is not dumb.  I hope he understands how great these are, and the clear advantage to branding it would be to give us a unique/traditional standard uniform, and then throw in whatever crazy neon mess for a game here or there.

These are flat out awesome.  I bitch about the uniformz when I hate them, so giving credit where credit is due when they're actually awesome, which these are.

As an added marketing ploy, I would suggest getting the Maize Rage coeds to wear the Dan Fife era shorts.

But if shorts with that striping style were on a non-throwback the bitching would be intense.

Finally nice to see them get it right.
