McGloin

Man watching him in this game makes me think our D isnt as bad as I thought it was.  Ok maybe not.  But seriously he looks really good against a great D in OSU.  I just assumed we madee him look filthy good, but he looks really good tonight.  Makes me feel better about that loss

The only thing TP seems to have on McGloin is running ability. Other than that, McGloin seems to have more command over his offense. I like this McGloin.

Did not read Torrence as the flat defender.  Cover 2 ≠ Cover 3.

...Also, are all Big Ten teams required by law to play Seven Nation Army?

Oh, okay.  I think they showed him right before I was leaving for the bar.  No surprise they can't get any real celebrities when they're in Columbus.

Now, if he had crushed the helmet on set I would have to admit that was pretty cool.

but OSU decided to start blitzing the crap out of the young ginger kid.  The result is hasty decisions and turnovers.  By contrast, Gerg decided Michigan would "drop back and not cover".  McGloin should have been on his back all night.

Our three-man rush and blitz every leap-year philosophy only further exposes our weak secondary.  Yes we are young there...exactly why we need to adapt and get more pressure.

... and that's why you wait for the whole game to play out. 5.3 ypa is worse than '08 Threet, against better competition, but still. Can the McGloin rehabilitation campaign stop now, please? It's a losing battle and it forces me to think of that terrible day. It's time to let it go.

McGloin did ok in the first half, they were talking him up big. And in the second half he cam back down to earth, gave the ball away a couple times. But yeah, I think he will be decent.
