Per @umichbball on Twitter, McGary will be participating in warm ups with the team tonight, but will not play.

that can't be answered. But I tend to agree Michigan is better.

If you keep Morgan as the starter, I don't see how Mitch coming off the bench doesn't make this a better team. Horford has been playing poorly for the last 3-4 weeks. At the very least it gives you more flexibility with 3 bigs available.
I am glad to see him on the floor again.
I don't see why they COULDN'T put him in there for a couple of defensive plays...or to give a foul or two??
Um, maybe so he doesn't screw up his back from which he's still recovering?
Someone give me a merit badge, 'cause my pants just pitched a tent.
I find it awkward when people get erections in response to 16-24 year old guys playing sports
I find most of my erections to be awkward.
Touche with that response
for me it isn't the homophobia, but rather creepophobia. get hard about whomever revs your engine, but the idea of a sports play causing an erection just creeps me the fuck out.
jdon
I, for one, am getting sick of the bonerphobia around here. It is not even closet discrete bonerphobia, it's egregious. Just stop! We are ALL equal here - even those with boners.
Gosh, sometimes you think it's going to take someone to play professionally with a boner for the discrimination to stop.
It is a hard existence.
but you got me here
Gosh, sometimes you think it's going to take someone to play professionally with a boner for the discrimination to stop.
I can see the appeal of watching women play sports, so I don't see why he/she couldn't be into dudes playing sports. I guess public boners are always awkward, though.
Quiet the discussion on boner principles we're having here on MGoBlog. No better way to get ready for the Tennessee game
16-24 is a big range. McGary's not a minor, so no problem
I somehow doubt that if he was actually playing that they could keep it quiet (then again the bball organization seems pretty tight knit) but it would certainly be the 'oh snap' moment of the tournament to see us roll out Mitch and JMo against Tennessee's two bigs
Don't get my hopes up @umichbball!
They kept it quiet before Iowa St. I don't think he plays, though.
Give Tenn something to think about regardless.
I would genuinly worry how J-Mo might take this. Although the team has always said they really like each other so sharing time should be good with J-Mo.
Also I think Morgan knows that when this team is out, he's done. Dude's on a mission.
They're not going to take that chance. What's likely keeping him out now is just lack of practice. One more week and he probably goes.
whose best friend has had back surgery (stenosis and herniated discs) and a wife who has had one (sciatica, degenrative disc disorder) surgery and is about to have to undergo another (they said its goting to be ever 10 yrs +/-) I second this notion. No sense causing problems for the rest of his life. I don't even begin to imagine I know what they've gone through, but it's horrible to witness, let alone live through.
A la Willis Reed, Game 7, 1970 NBA Finals, joining the team for warm-ups, and the Garden goes nuts (OK maybe not as dramatic, it was Game 7 and Reed was still seriously hurt, but still):
my nerves can't take this, I am tiired, I am going to lay down.
Would be a nice bonus if we're fortunate enough to make it that far. Would make my prediction of Mich-sparty final even better. Both teams fully healthy (to as much of an extent as currently possible), neutral court. Winner take all. I like it.
Mitch comes in for the last play, sinks a basket as time runs out, we win, the scoreboard explodes, some John Williams score plays, and Beilein is carried off the floor. Yes this so likely to happen!
So you're saying there's a chance?
