From the Detroit News:
landing spot. will be interesting to see how he does.

Way to go Mitch!
I guess this means he passed whatever physical exam the Thunder put him through.
aren't these contracts completely standard for rookies based in where they were picked?
There is a scale and the contract has to be within 80-120% of that scale:
But, if I'm not mistaken, teams also require a physical exam before the contract is signed and can choose not to sign a player if they find something unexpected or they don't like in the physical.
Just saw highlights from a summer league game. You think these rookies would sign so they could start playing.
Maybe I'm thinking like an owner...
He is playing tonight (see thread above)
The standard values for NBA rookie contracts are here - (LINK)
According to this, the 21st pick, which is where I believe Mitch went gets the following:
1st year - $1,166,700
2nd year - $1,219,200
3rd year option - $1,271,700
It also gives the percentage increases for a 4th year option and a qualifying offer.
Enjoy OKC...nothing to do there but hoop.
Eh, not exactly. Lived here for 6 years and I love it. Granted I came from Sioux Falls, SD... Which yeah... But still. Perfect smallish big city in my opinion.
running into your storm shelter is big out there I hear.
I dont think the last comments on your post are meant to be snarky based on the other comments and photos but generally women in flip flops and shorts are found in every city in America and not considered fashion forward. I also assume sitting on hay in the back of a pickup truck with watermelons is considered cultured in only certain parts of the deep south.
That said they are cute and I am being snarky ;) and being from metro detroit it is hard to really rip on any other city in terms of "things to do" - after Greenfield Village and our sports teams there is not a big list of things to show out of towners that is unique to Detroit/metro.
so in OKC they have walking, a boring sport, terrifying animals, allergies, and.....ok, that last one is nice
in the summer league or is he being held out because of his back?
This part of the press release makes it sound like he'll be playing (then again, maybe he'll participate by holding up a "Win the Game!" sign)
McGary is set to participate during this week’s Southwest Airlines Orlando Pro Summer League. The Thunder will tip-off summer league competition today at 4 pm CT in a match-up versus the Memphis Grizzlies.
Than I thought. I stopped watching after the Jordan era.
I had no clue OKC has a team, and "Thunder" is the dumbest name ever (except daggers in thrashin') it sounds like an American Gladiator name.
You're either a hundred or six years old. I'm guessing a hundred because most six year olds know Kevin Durant.
Did he play in the 90's?
Can't tell if trolling at this point...
But this guy seems to be just a lowly internet troll...
Mitch will be a great pro. He's just what OKC needed too. Offensive board help.
