brutal to not snatch that loose ball.

But they're a very good team and our kids have played a heck of a game today.

Probably not going to be able to get it done, sadly.

Had a chance, just couldn't overcome terrible officiating and a veteran team.  Hope they get an NIT bid because I don't want to stop watching this team play.

He's  just awkward without natural instincts for interior play. When he takes his time he's effective. But not a great leaper. He'll get better. And if wants to be special, then he's going to have to be quick with his footwork and learn how to play inside with authority.

I'm only watching via Gamecast, but it's surprising that we haven't taken a single free throw.  It looks like Wisco has only had 3 fouls against them all game.  I'm not watching live, but it seems odd...

Forced a bad sit against good defensive position and then proceeded to hedge 30 feet from the basket allowing a layup.

This is what we're playing against. We're hanging in there with them without (arguably) our two best players. Next year looks bright. Win or lose, kudos to to our weird guys.

Doyle is so technically unsound, it's ridiculous. How has he not gotten any better with his footwork by now? He's just so clumbsy out there. It's like he's just out there solely because of his size.

The Badgers went to the line 16 times and scored 12, more than the margin of victory.

Look these guys were consistent. I won't say they called a consistently fair contest. Just that the level of physicality they permitted allowed both sides to play hard. When you are top dog you get full respect. It's just the way it works. You get the calls when you have a reputation for not fouling and you have the crowd behind you and the adrenaline flows.

Outside the conference tournament, in the NCAA's this all changes because the officials haven't worked together and may call the game differently from each other. It was clear today, this crew was gpong tp let both teams play. This type of game always favors a team like Wisconsin. Michigan is a free-flowing offensive efficiency team which relies on outside shooting to win.

Michigan's performance should be applauded. I thought they played outstanding given their level of experience and matchup problems today especially in the post.

You may not accept this, but the coaching job by Beilein and staff was outstanding this year given the circumstances. This team is poised to be very strong for the next few years. And it's because of this dreadful bridge season that this future lies ahead.

I think there's a point at which refs can go a little too far and these refs passed that point and kept right on trucking. That was ridiculous.

But your reasons for why it headed in that direction (and what the consequences were) are correct.

off arm for a good three straight seconds as he attempted to probe the lane.

How that's not an offensive foul is beyond me.

It was impossible to miss and basketball would be a very shitty game if guys could use stiff arms to move the ball around the court.

A quick one can often escape notice, but he had that arm extended for mutliple mississippis.

That's not okay.
