"The face of the operation is Briatore (referred to exclusively in the film by his colleagues and angry, chanting detractors as "Flavio"), an anthropomorphic radish who spends most of his time at QPR plotting to fire all of the managers."
MBB vs. NW Open Thread
Good ole' BTN
Would +1 you if I could!
Hire DC- Check
Retain recruits (Kellen Jones)- Check
A MMB Win- TBD
Come on lets finish off this trifecta.
found a stream anywhere? Those BTN games are always very hard to find online :(
can't the B1G Ten strike a deal with ESPN3? It seems every other major conference has..
someone put up a phenomenal BTN stream a few games ago so hopefully that person will offer it again!
Stream me. please
people who look for streams: bookmark this site... streams pop up there for about half of Michigans games
My stream seems to have a certain dog in the background? Just saying.
Here's to hoping the B-ball team can turn it around. If they can just avoid some of the scoring droughts they have been having they should be good to go. GO BLUE!
Unfortunately, we've been saying that the entire decade...
Scoring droughts happen when you have 1.5 players athletic enough to get a shot on their own.
We can has road win?
Novak is feeling it. If only he and Douglass could have a hot game at the same time.
it comes to a point when every fricking conference game you are saying wow the other team is shooting lights out that it probably isn't them having a good day just us playing bad defense.
Morgan still scoreless and if it doesnt pick up OhowihateOhioState is getting negged for the jinx
Morgan just missed a dunk. Neg OhowihateOhioState to Bolivia.
I could only do two but I made sure I got two in
Shurna has got to have the ugliest jump shot I've seen that is still effective.
It's even uglier than Shawn Marion's
Shawn Marion's 'shot' is more like a chest pass gone awry.
Why do they always start sooo slow?
Fuck all these whistles
do stupid things sometimes. ah, youth.
Welsh-Ryan Arena must be what Yost was like when it was our basketball arena. It only seats about 8,000. It must be pretty cool to watch a game there.
we are getting some pretty open looks we just need to start hitting them and driving in the lane against this zone to open up the wings even more
could easily be up 10+, they have missed a lot of bunnies in the lane
What happened to him? Foul trouble or hurt? Sorry just turned game on
Morris has two fouls.
It's time to start playing some defense. Shurna is on fire.
We also need Darius.
Does this guy ever miss? Holy smokes.
In fact, he had a bad game when MSU played him up with some real athletes that didn't let him get his shot off.
the last one he made a hand one in his face the whole time, he's definitely feeling it to say the least
This is pathetic.
Anything that Shurna throws up goes in. Its ridiculous
We look bad. 5:42 left first half, down by eleven teen
Smotrycz is an absolute liability on defense, along with most of our team it seems. Just not quick enough on the rotations. This is infuriating.
STOP LEAVING IN HIM OPEN!
While I wasn't paying attention to them, or are we getting run by a bad Big Ten team?
It's early still, though.
middle of the road... not as bad as indiana, not as good as the upper half.
enough said. Besides Iowa we may be the worst team in the Big Ten. I remember all the talk about all these shooting drills JB has the kids work on. Unfortunately, our shooters seem to be getting worse not better. It's JBs fourth year and I'm ready for a change. He hardly recruits Detroit which is a hot bed of talent. I don't think he would know what a true big is and I'm tired of seeing our 6'8" center get dominated in the post. The tallest player, McLimas, may be 6'11" but he plays like he's 6'6" at best.
If it wasn't for JB inheriting Sims and somhow managing to keep Manny in the fold his entire tenure here would be laughable at best. His primary offense seems to be to throw the ball around the perimeter for 20 seconds and then throw up a three. The only problem is we can't shoot them. Draymond Green, who isn't known as a deep threat, shoots a higher percentage behind the arc then everybody but Novak. As much talk as there was about our former football coach being stubborn it appears to me JB is more stubborn about recruiting his players for his system which just doesn't seem to work. We don't score much, don't rebound, and don't get a lot of stops. I know there are outliers against high ranked teams at home, but I think I would rather get wins against bad teams on the road versus a so called morale victory (loss)at home.
Horford needs to keep the ball high. I'm sure he will work on that in practice. The amount he's taking the ball low as a big man is freaking criminal.
Horford needs to learn how to keep the ball off the ground when he catches it in the post. He always gets stripped by the 2nd defender.
