Thanks for the board reminding me about the game. Paying it forward. Go Blue!

Here's to hoping the B-ball team can turn it around.  If they can just avoid some of the scoring droughts they have been having they should be good to go.  GO BLUE!

it comes to a point when every fricking conference game you are saying wow the other team is shooting  lights out that it probably isn't them having a good day just us playing bad defense.

Welsh-Ryan Arena must be what Yost was like when it was our basketball arena.  It only seats about 8,000.  It must be pretty cool to watch a game there.

we are getting some pretty open looks we just need to start hitting them and driving in the lane against this zone to open up the wings even more

Smotrycz is an absolute liability on defense, along with most of our team it seems. Just not quick enough on the rotations. This is infuriating.

STOP LEAVING IN HIM OPEN!

While I wasn't paying attention to them, or are we getting run by a bad Big Ten team?

enough said.  Besides Iowa we may be the worst team in the Big Ten.  I remember all the talk about all these shooting drills JB has the kids work on.  Unfortunately, our shooters seem to be getting worse not better.  It's JBs fourth year and I'm ready for a change.  He hardly recruits Detroit which is a hot bed of talent.  I don't think he would know what a true big is and I'm tired of seeing our 6'8" center get dominated in the post.  The tallest player, McLimas, may be 6'11" but he plays like he's 6'6" at best.

If it wasn't for JB inheriting Sims and somhow managing to keep Manny in the fold his entire tenure here would be laughable at best.  His primary offense seems to be to throw the ball around the perimeter for 20 seconds and then throw up a three.  The only problem is we can't shoot them.  Draymond Green, who isn't known as a deep threat, shoots a higher percentage behind the arc then everybody but Novak.  As much talk as there was about our former football coach being stubborn it appears to me JB is more stubborn about recruiting his players for his system which just doesn't seem to work. We don't score much, don't rebound, and don't get a lot of stops.  I know there are outliers against high ranked teams at home, but I think I would rather get wins against bad teams on the road versus a so called morale victory (loss)at home.

Horford needs to keep the ball high. I'm sure he will work on that in practice. The amount he's taking the ball low as a big man is freaking criminal.
