@umichbball OFFICIAL: Michigan vs. Kansas will tip at 7:37 est on Friday at Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
All over the twitters, sorry no link yet and I'm on my phone. Also, it will air on TBS.
It will be on TBS.
No, not TBS. Probs can't watch it in that case. Fuck it all.
March Madness app on my iPhone has been a lifesaver for me so far.
I thought TBS was a basic cable chanel?
I'm in England. Shit is different for some reason. I can watch the CBS games online but not the rest.
Do you have a uniqname? If so, try the umich vpn. http://www.itcom.itd.umich.edu/vpn/
I have yet to find a personal use for this since I don't leave the country much except to go to Canada, but if you are familiar with proxies, you should be able to find a proxy for a different country like the US and use the website through that proxy if you have trouble accessing it from your current location. It makes the website think you are from that country and then allows you to watch or access things like you normally would..
I use hotspot shield as my proxy program and firstrowsports.eu to find games. There's also vipbox.tv. The amount of ads at the beginning is really annoying, but the longer you watch a feed, the less annoying it gets, at least with firstrowsports.eu. So it's better not to navigate away from the site if it's halftime or something. Just mute it
Thanks. I'll try this out. Firstrow sometimes works over here as it is, so the proxy should hopefully work fine.
Install XBMC and watch firstrowsports through there. It runs seamslessly with no ads.
Works for basketball too: www.thefirstrow.eu
Does http://www.ncaa.com/march-madness-live/ not work overseas? I know you can only watch for 4 hours (cbs games forever), however you can watch as many replays as you like. I spent all of Sunday evening watching games on there, I just had to squint mye yes and cover parts of the screen before getting it in full screen mode because they don't make it easy to not see the scores, if you dont full screen it it shows the final score in huge numbers across the top for the entire duration....pretty dumb. But you can practice on Thursday games!
huh? NCAA watch live says it is on TBS
You can watch it live on the internet at the CBS Sports website... Hell there's enough time to get the appropriat adapter or cord to hook your computer directly to the TV.
I would but I'm not in the States. I can only watch the CBS games online.
What's your profile pic of?
It's the album cover of The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me, by Brand New. Pretty weird picture though.
Big Ten Times:
OSU vs Arizona Thursday night, 7:47PM - TBS
Indiana vs Syracuse - Thurs., second game - CBS
Michigan vs Kansas - Friday night, 7:37PM - TBS
STAEE vs Duke - Fri, second game - CBS -- Unless hellfire consumes both teams (Yay!)
The link didn't have all the updates (as of about 6 AM anyway), but I did find them:
Indiana / Syracuse will go at 9:45 PM on the 28th.
MIchigan State / Duke will intersect with the path of a stray trans-Neptunian asteroid on the 29th at 9:45 PM.
The remainder of the games for the Sweet Sixteen line up as follows:
|Marquette #3 E vs. Miami (Fla.) #2 E||Verizon Center (Washington, D.C.)||
|La Salle #13 vs. Wichita St. #9 W||Staples Center (Los Angeles, CA)||
|Oregon #12 MW vs. Louisville #1 MW||Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis, Ind.)||
|FGCU #15 S vs. Florida #3 S||Cowboys Stadium (Arlington, TX)||
Crap, we're the first game in Arlington. I'm actually going to the game, so there's a 50-50 chance I will be incredibly pissed off when I watch Florida-FGCU. Oh well, GO BLUE, QUEME LOS BARCOS!
But a 50/50 chance that you'll be so, so damn happy.
You can stream all the games there.
App. I need this so I can watch while I'm working, from my phone
Search for March madness.
I'm at work, again.
I will be in Vegas. Where are your favorite spots to watch UM games while there?
I actually like the hooters sports book. Small but usually cheap drinks.
if you're gambling you drink for free?????
I just got back from there yesterday. Lagasse's Stadium in the Palazzo is a pretty nice setup, and the Venetian sportsbook is one of the better ones. Just make sure to get there early.
I'll be en route to GR and was hoping for the late tip. Guess I'll have to drive fast.
Well, poop. That's almost the only time the entire weekend that I won't be able to watch the game.
Cool. That's a great time for me. I can't wait for this game.
The B1G has proven it's probably the best conference, now I root for other B1G teams to lose...by double digits.
I'm glad the game is on Friday it's my birthday too. Hopefully I'll get the best present of all!
Why does it have to be in a Football Stadium? This is awful, never liked this, never will.. (Unless UM wins two there of course)
This stir anyone else the wrong way?
Someone pointed out to me that the FF is in CB Stadium next year. That venue is usually given a regional the year before (if it is their 1st time hosting) so that they can have a run through before their big event. But yeah I agree...I hate these venues for BBall.
It's in a football stadium for one reason: $$$$.
I am a little surprised CBS didn't grab the Florida Gulf Coast region which also includes three nationally popular schools and assign it to the A or B team.
Not loving going from Vern and Raftery, two great college announcers, to Albert and Kerr, two mostly pro guys.
I assume sundays start times would be 2:20 eastern and 5:05 eastern, somewhere in that range, I looked up last years sunday schedule, in case anybody is planning for easter
