lol... makes me wish we hit them a little harder every time we fouled.. since we're going to get called anyway. Remember Griffin full of blood on the 2009 tournament?

Same old shtick different gig. Lakers,Heat,Celtics blah blah blah. And in this case Duke,Kansas, Kentucky,North Carolina blah blah blah. He just like any other frontrunner talking head in the media.

I think the team did a good job adjusting to Duke's pressure D. Playing D like that can take alot out of you (Duke), we've taken their best shot, our looks will be better in the 2nd half.

This just in, the Plumlee's couldn't stay in front of my mother on the perimeter. We need to either hit the 3's or take those big boys off the dribble, it is there for the taking.

Of the timing in the UNC/Washington game.

I call bullshit.  They should have gone to the monitor in that situation.  It's a no-brainer.

On the timing when the ball went out of bounds.  It hit with 1.2 or 1.3 seconds on the clock, but the clock ran until 0.5 seconds.  That's a huge difference.

You're telling me that everytime they go to the monitor in past games that they call it when the whistle blows?  I always thought that this was the rule, but I've seen it called differently perhaps every single time that they've gone to the monitor in the past.

Michigan should just abandon their offense because Duke won't let them run it? Did he bother watching the first half or am I missing something? I thought the offense did well considering the foul situation. It looked like the same offense Michigan has been running all year...

He has a point in general; Duke does that to some teams.  But obviously not for this game as  Michigan's offense is working as designed.  Even the Novak shot they singled out is part of the design.

Oh I get the general point, but when breaking down this particular game it makes no sense. It wouldn't make sense for Michigan to switch their offense to something they don't have the players for (exclusively slash and score), esp. when their offense is fine.

Interested to see the first minute or minute and a half.  Either the game gets blown open by Duke or we keep it pretty close.

As far as the refs go, they're not the worst.  Calling bullshit calls, and probably a couple were  a bit favored toward Duke.

THJ definitely needs to ignite this half, but without Morris and Co. for a lot of the half and to be down by 4, not shabby at all.  Yay optimism.

listening to this bullcrap excuse being given, for the officials  not putting more time on the clock in the UNC and Wash game. Saying the clock shouldn't stop when the ball hits out of bounds, but when the whistle goes. I am pretty sure that is not the rule, or at least that isn't what I have seen enforced in other similar situations.

Whenever the same situation has occured in other games, I have always seen the refs go by when the ball hits out of bounds.

It will take one hell of an effort, because Duke is very good.  I love to hate, but whatever.

What everyone outside of this board just cannot fathom, is that Michigan is a very good team.  They are also well coached, discliplined and tough.  If Michigan can keep shooting at a good clip and stay out of foul trouble they will take it to the wire.

I just hope at the end of the game, win ore lose, these asshat broadcasters can start showing us some respect.

Duke looks beatable.  They will NOT Repeat as National Champions.

Let's see. Morgan was out for the last 10 minutes because of 2 fouls, Morris missed the last 5 minutes for fouls and also a couple minutes when he got shaken up, THJ was cold, and yet it's a 4 point game. I'm liking it.

will have our starters back on the bench in no time, the way they're sucking Dukey-balls.  They're going to need breath mints after the game.

I've thought about it, and I've decided I'm ok with bitching about these refs. Duke is handchecking us into Bolivian and the fouls they're getting called for them are of the phantom variety.

Does this halftime team even do analysis on games involving 1 seeds. Seriously all we get is Barkley's Duke is going to wear Michigan down and Kenny's Duke won't let you run your offense. I don't expect much, but can you sneak in one positive comment about Michigan or something insightful. Hell, I talk basketball better in my comatose drunk stage

We performed 22 points better than Tennessee in the second half than in the first half.

So, mathematics says that Michigan wins this one by 18.

Has to play a perfect half.  Too many stupid mistakes in the first half...and we are still close. That is a good sign.

Smart play, hard defense...we should have a shot.

Did anyone catch the announcer before the game started where he asked, "What does Michigan have to do to stay in the game?"  The other announcer replied, "They can't stay in the game."  Finally, the first was cut off to go to commercials when he answered, "Haha, I asked you what they had to do to stay in the game, and you..."

Between that and bull-headed Barkley, will anyone give our team even an ounce of respect to at least say we could have a shot in a million?
