Playing top 25 teams doesn't help you get into the tournament if all you have to show for it is losses.

Neither guy scored and Simpson took the only shot between the two of them.

Simmons saw something like 2 minutes in the first half and then didn't see the floor again until there was about 9 minutes left in the game. It was well out of reach at that point and even when he came in the first time the game wasn't really a game.
I think we're starting to see it shake out as Brooks being the primary guy, but will be interesting to see how he handles the atmosphere in Chapel Hill.

He didn't keep the ball in his hands very long. Neither did Brooks, but he was looking to shoot. Simmons had 3 turnovers in 7 minutes. Did not look better than those numbers.
Simpson had no TOs. I think the poster above got him confused with Simmons.

I will be honest here - after yesterday, that basketball game was a nice palate cleanser.
If I get at least one low-stress collegiate sports experience over a given weekend, usually I can do better throughout the week.

I feel really good about Brooks running things, especially after today. I'm really looking forward to this season.
Livers is going to be a beast. Teske off the bench. Mathews will be Mathews. Poole played good too, but for me Brooks showed great today. Duncan played some D.

Something I noticed and commented on at the game: It looked like Robinson was playing much more denial on his man. Maybe that's a strategic move. Have Robinson play denial defense so that there are less opporuntities for his man to attack him off the dribble. You give up some in help defense, but if you have Robinson guard a shooter - where you normally are already sacrificing some help D - it might help him hide on defense a bit without bailing into a zone.
I could be off, but worth looking for moving forward.

Takes some time to get the offense down. If he can help the team, he'll play. Case in point: Freshman Caris LeVert.

Saw them against MSU last night, they are bad at shooting. We can beat them.
