MBB v Minnesota Open Thread
Hardaway came ready to play tonight.
It's been a lot. Its been a roller coaster that for some reason seemed like it would never get good. But you know what? We kept fighting. It's like that old saying goes, "Those Who Stay Will Be Champions." -David Molk
Another unnecessary shot by Burke. But thank you Minnesota.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Too many mood swings the last few minutes
Michigan converting on the 3-on-2's in transition and Minny for whatever reason hasn't. I think that's an 8 point swing so far.
(Blogger alias: "Misopogon") This team is under construction. We thank you for your patience.
Dunk it
Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

I'm confused. Dickie V giving Trey the ultimate love. He does realize he isn't on duke or nc right?
Has he said anything about Duke yet?

Not sure. I literally just turned the game on 5 minutes ago. I'm sure he did though.
good half in a great game.
these two teams are ballin!
We are the dead.
Once McGary gets a year in the weight room and drops a few bad pounds he's gonna be something special.
"They will meet a dastardly fate here for that! There isn't a Michigan Man who wouldn't like go out and scalp those Buckeyes right now."
Strong first half. Looking forward to the second half. Going to be tough one.
Have to be happy with. 6 point lead on the road against the no. 9 team.
I wonder if they're going to have to start running some pin-down screens or something for GRIII. He's too good to be that uninvolved.
Yeah, that was a pretty bad no-call. My guess is the refs have a nice brown bag lunch or something waiting for them, so they just wanted it to be halftime.
HAIL.
Timmayyy is 6-7, and 4-5 from beyond the arc.
I like it.
HAIL.
Halftime stats, for the board's consumption:
Michigan:
FG% - 51.9%
3PT% - 54.5%
FT% - 50.0%
Minnesota:
FG% - 47.8%
3PT% - 71.4%
FT% - 75.0%
They are almost in a dead heat in most stats. The key so far has been turnovers on the part of Minnesota, of course. This really is coming down to little things like that though. Great game to this point though.
The 2nd half should be pretty damn exciting though. Go Blue! Beat The Gophers!
"Funny isn't it, how naughty dentists always make that one fatal mistake."

So does McGary have a starting spot after tonight? I hope he starts the 2nd half.
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
I see no reason why he shouldn't start. He is better in all facets of the game, imo.
Like his energy off the bench. And it really doesn't matter who starts, it's who finishes.
He is a worse interior defender - he commits a lot more fouls and his man shoots a higher percentage than Morgan's man does. He partially compensates with better shotblocking ability but not entirely.
Just noticed Lunardi's newest bracketology. Just noticed he has a 2 seed now. Boo.
HAIL.
What's going on dudes - just finished watching a fat gay black kid catfish a high schooler from holly, MI.
Man this Teo thing has really affected me

God just start mcgary already.
The Team, The Team, The Team!- Bo
In other news looks like timmay playing the good side of dr. Jekyll and mr Hyde tonight

In time for the second half :) Even though I would never watch it on mute during a lecture...
Stat of the half: Michigan has 22 points off turnovers, Minnesota has three.
The local used car commercials from Arkansas on this stream are cracking me up.
If we rebound, we win. It's gona be tough. Refs aren't helping Michigan by allowing rough play downlow. GR3 is getting mauled on rebound "attempts".
Mbakwe has more wrinkles in his head than I have in my balls.

He's missed 17 of his last 24, I think
HAIL.
