MBB v Illinois BTT Open Thread

Submitted by alum96 on

I only started one other MBB game thread this year and it was for Illinois and that one turned out well.  Hopefully twice is still a charm.

If you have Comcast- instead of going through watchespn, just go through the comcast site directly, sign in and watch live tv.

Gotten a couple good defensive plays this half by swiping balls before guys can go up.  If you're not a great shot blocker, there are other ways to interfere with a guy.  Good to see.  Loved LeVert's charge, too.  More active this half.  Great job so far.

This team is RIGHT there with those guys...I love that THEY love playing with each other, they have fun, they play hard, and now with GRIII playing the way he should...they get the most of their ability. You can't ask for more. No matter if you're 0-30 or 30-0, those are some of the things you always want to see in a team.

seed is going to come down to who does better in the BTT between us and Wisconsin. Once the favorite consolidates I think the Big Ten gets a 1 seed.

Dang it. Nik just wasn't quite set after not shooting off the bat.  That woulda crushed Illinois.  Now instead Morgan has his third.  Oh well.  Time for Horford to step it up from his play in the 1st half.

I'm convinced Dakich is not only aware of his bench celebrity, but now intentionally feeds the cult of Dakich.  I think he does so sincerely, and I have no problem with it.
