ESPN 4 Star Combo-Forward Jerome Hunter Recaps his UM visit. Think the fit would be good with Hunter, lengthy player at 6'7 with a nice stroke and good frame.

You think it's bad here. Then you visit pretty much any other sports forum anywhere on the internet, and mgoblog starts looking awfully smart and sophisticated in a hurry.

Except it really doesn't. I go to a lot of sports forums, and the MGoBlog user base is not nearly as great as it thinks it is.
The content put out by Brian/Ace/Seth/etc. is fantastic. The mods are good. But the commenters? Better than FB/ESPN/RCMB I guess (marginally so), but not nealy as great as it thinks it is.

He rated his visit a "10" but said everyone recruiting him is "equal" right now and he doesn't know if he will be making a return visit for a football game. I'm not really seeing a lot of interest here yet.

UM literally just started showing serious interest at the end of July - I did some work with Jerome in late July, at which point he told me he only had 1 phone call with the staff. For him to visit and be offered within 2 weeks is more indicative of the interest level at this point.

While my site/work isn't UM centric explicitly, I certainly make it my business to to cater to the UM alum/fan base as an alum myself. Obviously, I can't come close to approaching the excellent work that Ace, Brian and the rest of the staff do here at MGo, I just hope that I can supplement that work with some visit/recruiting updates when possible.

I won't say that I'm a big bball fan, but I do watch college bball on occasion. It's great to see regular bball recruiting updates because it bringe me closer to the team - or, at least, helps me know the team better. That will only increase the appreciation I have for the sport! Maybe I'll watch more as a result!T
