They also took advantage of a lack of boxing out (9 offensive rebounds and 8 second-chance points), poor free throw shooting, and scored 18 points off 11 Michigan turnovers.  Michigan allowed Wisconsin to even have a chance.

Do your jobs, boys, and there is no chance for Wisconsin.  Oh, and a shot clock violation and turnover down the stretch by Michigan also led to the opportunity.

Pointing out the obvious.

By the way, most of you are too young to remember Bo after tough losses, but he would ALWAYS  point out what Michigan did wrong to lead to a loss.  Here, however, factual criticism is noit allowed.

It's pointless to analyze a game like this.  Did you even watch it?  It was back and forth the entire game.  The rebounding margin was only 5.

If that banked three would not have went in and we are Wisco fans we'd be bitching about how terrible we shot (Wisco shot 36%) and how we were unable to outrebound Michigan by more.

It's pointless to find things to complain about in a game where both teams played their hearts out only for it to end on a fluke.

Argh, are you kidding me? Can't we just as easily say 9 offensive rebounds, 8 second-chance points, 18 points off Michigan turnovers, and an 0-6 run on free throws is the kind of thing a tournament team overcomes?

A last-second 3-pointer goes in off the backboard, otherwise this is a 2-point victory in the house of No. 12. Wisconsin is a "good" team and they needed a miracle 3 to win at home [Ed-Myself: I'm an idiot] against Michigan. And they're one of the best teams in the best conference in the country.

I appreciate that you want to dissect the game, but if the difference between an NIT and a tournament team comes down to a last-second three-pointer, going over every nano-negative for Michigan this year just obfuscates the reality that we were a team "on the bubble" in any sense of the word.

Arena was a quarter empty, which shows you how little people within a 100 mile radius of Ann Arbor care about this year's Michigan team.  Prior to the game, people were talking about a near sellout.  Not close.  Disappointing.

That hurt to lose like that. Even more, my wife is a badger and simply put her arm up at the buzzer.  Meanwhile, my 4 year old was still shouting "go blue!" after the buzzer not understanding what happened.

The most unbelievably lucky shot ever.  How the hell does it bank in like that?  I was catatonic for ten minutes.  Luckily my three month old daughter started crying to be fed and snapped me out of it.

Bad things happen, but why do they have to happen to these guys so often?  Those poor kids have to be absolutely sick knowing the opportunity that they came so close to tonight.

Might want to consider retracting that statement. Douglass can be frustrating some nights with shot selection/execution. He's also lights out sometimes and is generally a useful role player.

Why did my post get deleted/edited?

Getting personal on college athletes usually results in a deletion, and virtually always when it's a Michigan player in question. Threads that invite flaming also get deleted. Threads with misleading titles designed to scare the crap out of readers before they click will either be deleted or edited so that their titles reflect their contents.

Unbelievable. Stunning. A horrific loss. Shot ourselves in the face, survived it, then died in our own feces. Unbelievable.

I just... I don't know. I mean.... we should have won that game. Our team is pretty good but oh my god do we do stupid shit sometimes. Darius at the end of that game... not even the missed FTs, though I question throwing it to him in that situation because he's not a terribly good shooter... but the turnovers... he did have a good bucket, the kid's talented, we'll grow from this but jesus was this the opposite of Morgan in the last game...

I don't know. Unbelievable. Stunned.

I almost punched my tv. Not even because I was going into a rage....but because it was just my reaction that I had no control over. I was quietly sitting there, he shot it, it went in ...and my first reaction was to just hit the tv.

Luckily I didn't, I would have regretted it.

I sat at the bar motionless for a good 5 minutes. I meant to go out for a couple drinks and watch the game but here I am. It's 10:30, I'm hammered and I'm still sitting here.

There's only one logical conclusion: God hates us.

I was there. It was beyond horrible. I'm still messed up. Lucky shot aside, obviously missed free throws were crippling. They had so many damn easy shots they lost out on too that you just have to make in a game like that. Oh, and grab a fucking rebound! They put themselves in that buzzer beater scenario the way they played. Go get the damn win and earn it. Don't let luck even be a factor cause lord knows we don't have any of that shit. Ugh, with a bank too...COME ON MAN!
