Doyle did nothing tonight. Not sure how much longer you can stick with him. He has been poor on D and has horrible stone hands (makes J Mos hand look like glue). I think eventually Mo starts and Doyle gets 10 min. Wilson and Donnal will split 5 between them save an emergency at this point and

Wagner and Robinson are solid and will only get better. If spike gets healthy and bak to normal we will have a dangerous bench. Chatman still a disappointment I was expecting so much more

Chatman has battled injuries. Not sure if he has any issues this year, but he did all last season.

I always viewed the body he came in with as a real challenge for Sanderson as he looked underdeveloped and not super athletic - I don't know what is or isn't possible for him, but Sanderson has surprised me before.

J Mo was viewed as hopelessly unathletic by some before he got to campus.

AXS of evil must be avoided in future. Kickoff 14 hours and 44 minutes away. Not having to stress about the early game running long and the Michigan game getting bumped to espnnews (or God forbid axs!) is a reason to favor the noon kick.

Not sure, but they seem to have a curious logo. They say everything is bigger in Texas, but I didn't realize certain parts of the male anatomy stretched from Lubbock to Brownsville. Luckily there is a bridge that allows travelers going east/west to not crash into it.

Texas Basketball

On second thought, perhaps that is a plantain or an eggplant. Equally odd (and still a good reason to have the 390 mile bridge - which also keeps people safe from the giant cow in the eastern part of the state).

Wagner held his own out there against an elite center. Wagner will be crucial for us this season. He plays with an energy reminiscent of McGary and Novak. I doubt we win this game without Wagner.

Couldn't agree more about the "McGary and Novak" thing. I do think he is currently a lesser developed Mitch McGary with his offensive skills and ability to play defense to the outside. He is going to only get better from here on out. You could see that potential early with a few little things he did right, but it really came out during the tournament. I really thought he would be the #2 center by the time the B10 season rolls around, but not to this extreme. Love that kid.

Certainly not compared to the last few years. The fact is that this is probably the MOST experienced team that Beilein has had here. And yes, multiple losses do hurt you. Lots of teams end up not quite making the tournament because of losses in November and December that they can't make up for in January and February. And while it's all well and good to say they we may get better, the same thing can be argued for all of the teams we're going to be competing against. Indiana will get better, so will Maryland, Wisconsin, Michigan State, OSU, Purdue and Iowa. It's not enough to improve, you have to improve MORE than everyone else, or you're just standing in place.
