MBB Great teams - Who ya got?

1992-93 v. 2012-13. And what is the final score? And who is the difference maker? All opinions welcome.

Joking aside. 92-93. Too big, too athletic. Who would matchup on Burke would be interesting. King and Jackson were both great defenders.
In the end I think Webber and Howard are too much.

If I may interject (not that any objection would stop me - I am just that person), could we tone down the harsh, unwarranted criticisms of responses which do not meet your personal standards? General snark and sidebar posts / discussions are a part of MGoLife, so the best approach might be to walk on by in these situations.

who would win between the '88-''89 team against the '92-'93 squad.

I think Rice would have been too much and leads his team to a win probably something like 82-79. That team had a bunch of big athletic guys as well, and more actually between Mills, Vaught, Higgins, Hughes and Rice was a great rebounding SF at 6'7".

it would be one for the ages that's for sure, OT is quite the possibility but Rice was something special and he had lots of help too.

Rice still holds the records for most points in the tourney.
