MBB class of 2016 offer day open thread
Not expecting any Hellos today, but you never know. Seems like out of the likely offerees, Towns could be a possibility today.
Umhoops has a breakdown of likely and possible offers going out today.

must mean the coaches don't either.
assumed that I don't think the coaches know what they're doing. I said "I" am not wild about the offer, which I immediately followed with the qualifier that these types of recruits tend to blow up when Beilien gets in on them. Reading is a wonderful thing, please try it.
I know little of Teske" and that's kind of my point here, nobody does. Why rush him an offer?
suggests the coaches don't know what they're doing. Please try again. Questioning something is far from making a statement.
Questioning them based on your own lack of knowledge is something you should expect to get called out on. Nice that you can't respond to such criticism without making an insult. You don't think they know plenty about Teske after just working with him at their camp?
insulted by anything I've said, I apologize, but I think you've taken any disrespect towards you too seriously. We're arguing over a 16 year old basketball player of varying importance. I feel no need to get upset over that kind of thing. Any tone you've sensed from me is just a mirror of what you've said to me.
Although it probably means he's due to blow up now. Isn't that how things work when Beilein extends an offer?
Teske is a great defensive player and he admits he needs to get in the weight room and work on his strength. If only we had a good strength and condiioning program. /s
Swanigan,Murray and Goodin. Josh Langford needs to come to visit ASAP.
Right here right now I would be surprised if Swanigan committed to us over MSU by a lot, considering his teammate Davis has committed in the 2015 class to the Spartans (they could have a really scary frontcourt in 2016-17 if that were the case). Not optimistic the interest in langford is mutual enough to get my hopes up at this point. The other prospects have at least visited.
The offer should still go out. Langford wants to come in the fall. He has been injured but the interest is real.
then no offer. It's a pretty clear aspect of Beilein's policy. In some ways, I agree with that aspect of it from a strategy perspective. Saying you will come visit is different than visiting. It shows you already have expressed interest and the staff knows their time isn't wasted when there may be other high profile prospects who have more interest.
Which is why I said "Josh Langford needs to come to visit ASAP. "
If he wants to visit, lets get him in here ASAP and start pressuring him to commit. I just don't want to be hoping he will visit for a couple months to find out he has changd his plans later.
He's planning one soon and I expect he'll get an offer while he's here.
He visited for the IU game and banner raising. Just needs the academic portion.
Sam Webb said that according his site's research, Michigan is the only school that Murray has visited—just an additional data point.
Also worth noting are upcoming visits from the offerees. Cassius Winston will visit Michigan next weekend; not sure of others as the source below is a premium article.
2016 G Cassius Winston will visit #Michigan next weekend. Probably won't be the only offered prospect there (VIP): http://t.co/Lxu3LkY5Oh

Teske is perfect. A 4 year bigman who can develop behind Donnal/Doyle/Wilson 2-3 years.
This is Michigan hoops man, we'll be lucky if we get two years out of him. NBA machine.
He is a bigman. We usually get 4 years out of them.
Unless they're Mitch McGary.
Who was forced out.
That top 50 PG prospect Quentin Goodin has also been offered. 3 PG offers in one day is a clear message (to me) they are A) not expecting Jalen Brunson to commit and B) they want an early PG commit to build the 2016 class around.
Roy Williams offers from UNC went out today.
Kentucky will offer Thornton on his visit in the next week or two. Thornton's father says "I love Cal"; says Calipari's been recruiting Thornton since 8th grade. Battle is visiting Kentucky (and Louisville) this week.
