MBB can beat OSU tomorrow!

Submitted by Blazefire on

You know how I know? Because Brady Hoke is rubbing off on John Beilein:

"We've played so many of those good teams so far, that I don't know if (it matters if) you're playing a 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5," U-M coach John Beilein said. "It depends on the kids. I know I don't look at it any differently. I know they're a tremendous team. The rankings are the perception of their team. They certainly are worthy of a No. 1 ranking."

GO BLUE! BEAT OSU!

Your good in my book. Part of being a true fan is sometimes being critical, wearing your heart on your sleeve. As a young kid, I cried when Michigan lost to Iowa when Harbaugh was "my" guy. I still hate to lose, and that stems from seeing years of near perfect seasons. I want to beat OSU, because losing wrecks the week for me when it happens.

I'm the same way. I hate when Michigan loses. Ruins my mood. Usually, I'm calm and mellow about things. I always try to find a silver lining but when Michigan loses a football game, I can't. Now, I can when we lose a recruit because like Hoke says, "Michigan isn't about 1 player". That's why I try not to get too upset over rankings and where other recruits go because 1.) They're anywhere from 16-19 years old 2.) Quite a few highly touted recruits don't pan out.

It's good to let your true feelings known whether on a message board or with your friends/family in any case, quite frankly.

Now why would you go and post something like this? Now i'm going to go to bed and not sleep well.  :(  When that happened, i realized, OSU has a curse on us.  That curse shall be lifted tomorrow! :)

I was in Virginia interviewing for a job and they had the game on a TV nearby. I watched the final 3 minutes with an OSU grad, and when they won he looked at me and said, "Well, everything is as it should be". My only victory was when he opened the door for me to walk out and I jokingly said, "Well, everything is as it should be".

We live in Ohio and my 18 year old son is wearing his Michigan gear to school tomorrow as he is CONVINCED we're gonna win.  I told him I didn't see it happening and he said "why not Dad....why can't we win?"

 Maybe he's right!.  Go Blue!

...but it certainly sounds like Fred Jackson is.  It was nice of Fred to let JB borrow his thesaurus.

As for Michigan winning tomorrow, I think the chances are very slim, but you never know with a young team.  I attended a game in Frieder's second year where Michigan upset #2 TSIO at Crisler.  That team would finish 7-20.  So, anything can happen.  I just don't think "it" will tomorrow.

Of course, I hope I'm wrong.

Weirder things can, and have happened. Wouldn't that be something? That would be such a shot in the arm for the whole Ohio State and Michigan. I think it would carry over to football, I really do.

If Michigan wins tomorrow, all bets are off for the rest of this season. The Big Ten is very unpredictable this year. If an upper tier game doesn't bring their A game there is always a chance. It's not likely but the team should have tons of confidence right now. There is no shame in losing tomorrow and the team should hold their heads high. On a related note, the football team beating OSU next year would be one of the happiest days in my life as I have never seen an M victory in the game.

I'm coming into this one expecting the worst.  It worked last week in East Lansing.

I do think we'll win in State College next weekend.

We always have a large discrepency in fouls compared to our opponents. It is because of our style of offense:  Lots of perimeter shooting and little offense down low because of our lack of an inside presence and slashers.  I do agree though that we do not get the benefit of many of calls even when we are playing in AA.

1) C++ is hilarious

#include<mgoblog.h>

2) Ohio State barely beat Northwestern and a ton of other teams. Ohio State only beat Michigan by 4

It can be done

Hopefully someone beats those clowns soon, tired of seeing them go undefeated like this
