Thanks a lot!  There were so many plays I wanted to look over (e.g., when Stauskas got mauled at the 3:39 mark in the 2nd half...can't believe they didn't show a replay of that with a closer look)

I flipped to the end just to see how agonizingly long the end was. Live, I wasn't sure if it was because of all the stress that it was taking forever or not. It wasn't. Last 3:00 of game time took about 25 real minutes. Awful.

Thats the worst part about basketball for me. In a close game, the first 38 minutes are awesome and exciting, then the last two minutes are boring and really dragged out. How do you fix that?

I've heard suggestions about having a foul also run a few seconds off the clock similar to football, but I'm not really in favor of that because the offense can just stand around and take 35 seconds off the clock and there wouldn't be much chance of a last minute comeback...

That would be awesome. I don't know enough about basketball to do it unfortunately. Of course my Sparty friends are complaining about the refs too. Basketball seems to be the only sport where both the losing and winning complain about the refs after most every game.

No idea what caused it but i love the fire with Beilein. Some say hes too passive but he was on fire last night. Love the fact that Stauskas kept holding him back to avoid a technical thats leadership

It had to have something to do with the assistant bringing the chairs onto the floor for a timeout. If I can remember right the clock read 4:01 so the media timeout was extremely close but a couple seconds off. I think you could see coach yelling something about timeout

I'm afraid to watch the replay because I may get pissed off again at how the zebras tried to screw us. Oh well, I guess we got the last laugh. Thanks for posting!

Holy shit, you're right.  Might be the stomach.  You can also see it in real time around 1:24:05. Then around 1:24:20 when LeVert is walking up the court after getting up, he says something to his teammates that looks like "he punched me," but I can't quite tell if that's what he said.

Edit: you edited just now to indicate the real time play and embed.  If this wasn't noticed, do you think it will be investigated?

Glad someone else noticed. My GF who was only half watching (not a mich fan) all of a sudden says "that guy just punched him in the groin". I didn't even know what she meant then I rewound it and saw. Still wasn't totally sure he wasn't coming in to just block out (I'm sure dirty shit happens on boxing out all the time) but that looked pretty intentional

a lot of things I want to see again, now that the stress level isn't involved. I can kick back and enjoy it for the most part... besides the refs. Jeez it makes me mad just thinking about it... and that no-call timeout for Spike... wow.. refs should be fined for that. It's like they just said "NO.. not gonna happen, pal!".

Also, even tho it took like 30 minutes.. I'll enjoy watching Michigan sink all those free throws down the stretch. How clutch. A lot of teams wouldn't be able to do that on the road @ Breslin.

thanks for these games, really appreciate it.  however i'm wondering if you could use some other compression format?  i know you have to compress to get the file to a workable size for upload but you're really losing lots of detail in the video currently.  faces are very blurry that makes it hard to tell who the players are etc.  if not, no worries as it's better to have them than not at all, but just hoping.

thanks again.

yes, i change it to max setting which is 720p HD, however if watched on a larger screen you can really see how bad the detail is.  even on a 20" computer screen you can see that the faces etc are fuzzy.  so i'm just hoping an improvement can be made, but if not like i said something is better than nothing.

i'm still hoping if someone has some of the season's earlier games out there, i never saw the iowa st, unc charlotte and long beach st games.

thanks

Thanks for posting. I was down in in AA at Ashley's with a couple buddies. We made our way down to BDubs for the 2nd half but the wait was too long. By the time we got back to my buddies place the game was over. I unfortunately missed the 2nd half but I ended up getting home around 3:30am and ESPNU was just starting a replay of the game. I was still so pumped from knowing we won that I just stayed up and watched the whole game. Ended around 5am. Needless to say I slept in on Sunday.
