MBB 2nd Half Thread vs. Indiana

Submitted by San Diego Mick on

Alright, Shaky start but good play by our boys most of the way, we need to keep it going.

I figured I'd start another thread cause the other one was getting slow per usual.

Go Blue, let's put up another banner!

don't let your emotions get the best of you, "fans."  if you support this team, you won't show anger and shout "choke job," "this team sucks," etc.  you'll support your team regardless.  they played hard and unfortunately couldn't hit clutch free throws.  there will still be a tomorrow, don't kill yourselves or say anything you'll regret later on when michigan is plunging deep into the tournament.  will you be the\at "fan" that hates the team now, but when michigan is in the final 4, suddenly shows undying support again?

have no inside game at all. No will to grind out a game and get tough points when it's needed late. We only pass on and around the perimeter. How many passes have been down to a post player all year? I can't remember one all year.

I'm sick to my stomach...and possibly having a brain anerusym..and I'm alone and no one will know for hours, OMG this is a terrible feeling.

Honestly, and I can't believe I'm this lucid right now, that was a helluva game and ours for the taking.  We should have won that game, straight up, but sometimes free throws and free-be's come between "should have" and reality.  Oh well.  Take the 5-seed and run wild boys.

Michigan has a 15 point lead with under 10 minutes to play at Penn State, loses

Michigan has a 10 point lead with 4 minutes left against MSU, takes an incredible effort by Burke to win by 1

Michigan has a 3 point lead with 3 seconds left against Wisconsin, loses

Michigan has a 5 point lead with under a minute left against Indiana, loses

Missed free throws almost cost us the home games to OSU and MSU. After Craft wasn't called for an obvious flagrant, Hardaway missed one to leave it a 2 point game with 10 seconds left.

Against Sparty, McGary missed 2 free throws with 20 seconds left to leave the game tied.

Third time was a charm time today with 3 missed free throws in the final 50 seconds to give the game to Indiana.

Why is it that other teams never seem to have a problem sinking free throws at the end of games, and we can't seem to hit one to save our lives?  This team needs to consult a goddman sports psychologist.

probably a 3 seed in the NCAA tournament.  Thes seoncd round is where I see them struggling.  The pressure of getting to the Sweet 16 will be just like today.  Plus they won't be at home so Robinson will most-likely struggle down the stretch as he has shown a propensity to disappear on the road.

Who cares.  This team can't finish and will lose to Penn  State on Thursday.  They're done.

Interior defense wass responsible for this loss and Michigan made absolutely no adjustments.  Need faster weak side help or play a litle zone.  They have had sucess with the 1-3-1.  Just awful.  They just sat and watched Zeller.
