... and to a lesser degree The Art Fair are two of those things that seemed a lot more appealing to me my first year in Ann Arbor than they ever did again.
The Art Fair was never appealing to me. I saw it at orientation and immediately hated it.
I've never been a big Art Fair guy. That being said, it brings in a lot of money to local businesses and is one of the many events that attracts people to AA and gives it a nationally positive name. In that sense, I don't mind being inconvenienced with traffic and crowds for one weekend out of the year.
Hash Bash on the other hand, I'm not so sure it has the same benefits for the city.
Live in cities like Ann Arbor, then complain about things like Art Fair, or Football Saturdays. The things that make the city unique, and attractive. Just live in Saline, and commute. Seems everyone wants to have the things THEY like to occur, but the other stuff is there just to inconvenience them.
This surprises you? A lot of people are selfish.
Of living somewhere where you don't like anything that happens there....
may disagree with your hash bash comment.
You'd think the Taco Bell on East U would have survived.... ;-)

...and enlightening Q&A with Bielfeldt Maximus.
Q: Where do you feel the most comfortable in their offense and defense?
MB: Their four spot. They said next year they are thinking about running a little bit more two-post stuff. I think either one, they are kind of similar to us with the offense. If I can develop my game a little bit over the summer, I think I’d be comfortable at either one.
