ryandburton Love Pagano as DC, disliked the way Mattison seemed to play prevent when we had lead, always eased off in second half.
Random reaction from Balitmore fans that instantly reminded me of the criticism he took as DC here in the mid-90s. Could have been a Carr thing though as it seemed to be a true of everyone of his teams.

Ravens DC Greg Mattison left for Univ. of Michigan. Ravens promoted Chuck Pagano to DC. Pagano would have been Raiders DC candidate.

They are done on offense. Borgess is going to coach the QB's. All that is left to hire is a DB and DL coach.

How do you figure? That would only make 4 coaches on offense and 3 on defense (Mattison should coach DL). We still need 2 more. Loeffler and either another DB coach or a ST coach would make sense.

For everyone (like myself) who was bemoaning the fact that we weren't going to go for the home run hire like Randy Shannon, I think Hoke deserves some major kudos for this. This is an absolute coup. Better hire than even Shannon would have been.

No longer a Michigan fan. Michigan just hired a coach who quit on them when he took the ND DC position a while back. I can't cheer for a team that hires a coach who turned his back on Michigan before. Where's the integrity that Michigan claims to have?
