Great news.  Mattison could really help especially if they can sign soon and have him make a few recruiting calls.  Coming from the league is huge.

How do you figure? That would only make 4 coaches on offense and 3 on defense (Mattison should coach DL). We still need 2 more. Loeffler and either another DB coach or a ST coach would make sense.

For everyone (like myself) who was bemoaning the fact that we weren't going to go for the home run hire like Randy Shannon, I think Hoke deserves some major kudos for this. This is an absolute coup. Better hire than even Shannon would have been.

No longer a Michigan fan. Michigan just hired a coach who quit on them when he took the ND DC position a while back.  I can't cheer for a team that hires a coach who turned his back on Michigan before. Where's the integrity that Michigan claims to have?

Like a fan that turns is back on his team because they don't follow the codes and specs HE think they should. No offense but I think they'll be fine without you. I hear theres room on that green piece of crap bandwagon. Grab your ski mask and hitch a ride.
