This list loses credibility to me if I don't see Jake Butt in the top 10
October 6th, 2015 at 6:19 PM ^
You don't think Heitzman is a better TE than Butt?
October 6th, 2015 at 6:21 PM ^
He said in the top ten.
October 6th, 2015 at 6:22 PM ^
Heitzman is no where near the TE Jake Butt is. Heitzman probably isn't the TE Ian Bunting will be as we head into November.

I thought maybe J002E3 was the joke, and it kept going over everyone's heads

saved us from an asteroid collision!
October 6th, 2015 at 6:37 PM ^
I don't get it. Are we comparing tight ends or butts?
October 6th, 2015 at 6:43 PM ^
A Tight End will be a Butt and a Butt shall be a Tight End.
It hath been decreed!

so let it be written, so let it be done.

For today's kids and those who never stayed to watch Charlton Heston lead the chosen people across the Red Sea while chased by Yul Brynner - think of Chief Wiggum in that voice.

woosh!
October 6th, 2015 at 9:43 PM ^
I think Harbaugh has lost a lot of credibility with the fan base when he wasn't able to find away to keep Heitzman so we were stuck with leftovers like Jake Butt. With this poll, Harbaugh's seat has just gotten a bit warmer.

October 6th, 2015 at 6:21 PM ^
That has two Indiana players ranked better than Jake Butt seems legit to me.
October 6th, 2015 at 6:23 PM ^
Eh. He's 10th in receiving yards among TEs this year and just an okay blocker.
October 6th, 2015 at 6:21 PM ^
No Jake Butt; list invalid...
October 6th, 2015 at 6:21 PM ^
He's bringing his talent up to new heights, man.
October 6th, 2015 at 6:22 PM ^
Hahaha
October 6th, 2015 at 6:23 PM ^
No TE from TE U?
October 6th, 2015 at 6:24 PM ^
With a credible source like that, it must be true!
October 6th, 2015 at 6:25 PM ^
I don't know what to think about this ranking. I can say that I'm glad Keith transferred to my Bobcats. He's been a quality player for us.

Don't be so surprised, most girls say that at first, but most are willing to give it a go after awhile.

Amazing what solid coaching can do!
Also like others have said this list is incomplete without some Butt love

Edit never mind, went and looked at it.
Right now, he's not even a 7th round draft pick. I wish the kid all the best in the world, but they are rating players oddly.
October 6th, 2015 at 9:36 PM ^
They are rating players based on their plays on the field, not NFL potential

As an OU grad, and I love my school, the teams they have played are probably not great. OU's football team is always nothing more than a decent to good MAC team and rarely play a team worthy of showing if he is a good TE.
October 6th, 2015 at 7:49 PM ^
I've watched all of OU's games this year and you are off base. They have beaten Marshall who had the best odds to win 11 games this year according to Vegas. They also should have beaten Minnesota but got hosed with a delay of game penalty when lining up for the go ahead FG as time expired when the kicker kicked the ball after Kill called an icing timeout during the run up.
Heitzman has looked massively improved compared to last year and Darius Vick is absolutely forcing him the ball as he's made plays all year. This thread is filled with butthurt opinions that haven't seen him play once this year.

"This thread is filled with butthurt opinions"
I see what you did there.
October 6th, 2015 at 6:31 PM ^
I'd like to see Butt play up close.
October 6th, 2015 at 6:48 PM ^
DO NOT TYPE THAT INTO GOOGLE AT WORK.
October 6th, 2015 at 7:24 PM ^
Lol. He's a nice tight end.

Would run circles around him all day.
October 6th, 2015 at 6:49 PM ^
I wouldn't want a te to run circles. Would much prefer running routes and blocking.
October 6th, 2015 at 6:32 PM ^
Seems like Josiah Price should be somewhere near "top 10" nationally.
October 6th, 2015 at 6:47 PM ^
This is obviously a bad list. Here's an explanation from the website on how these "grades" are computed:
https://www.profootballfocus.com/about/how-we-grade/
They claim to have an actual person grading every player on every play. I assume they are crowdsourcing this labor on Amazon or some equivalent, to poor people in the third world. They should add a step where they check to see if the results are insane, and consider reevaluating their methods.
October 6th, 2015 at 6:49 PM ^
No Butt
No Higby from Western Kentucky
No Hodges from Va. Tech
No Samuels from NC state
Who made this list? My mom?
October 6th, 2015 at 6:57 PM ^
I went to Ohio University's site to catch up with Heitzman - as someone said, Ohio University doesn't really play too many teams that might give us a good insight into just how effective Heitzman could be at TE (I think he could be rather good myself), but he is their 3rd most prolific receiver in terms of total yardage thus far right now - 11 catches for 169 yards and 1 TD, averaging 42 yards per game.
October 6th, 2015 at 7:50 PM ^
Minnesota and Marshall are not bad football teams.
