Out of curiosity, why did we motion Hill around on that 4th&1? He didn't have any run-up and got stuffed at the line for the first time this season. Wish he and Poggi flipped spots on that snap so he could have built up some momentum.

Damn it feels good for that to be my only gripe.

Kind of surprised how many carries Smith got, especially when the game was well out of reach. I'm stretching for something to say because the offense looks so sharp right now.

I'm kind of wondering if they're not going to try and send him out with a 1,000 yard campaign... He's dominated the carries more the past few games. He's now over 500, and could easily break the 700 yard mark with his carries against Iowa next week. That would leave at LEAST 3 games left on the schedule to get the remaining 300, with a potential of 2 more. Plus the importance of the games is ratcheting up with each passing week with the goals becoming more of a reality than a dream. Couple that with the fact that the competition is stiffening, he's our most experienced back and best in pass pro... And you can see why he is seeing an uptick in usage. Maybe the early season carry distribution was by design to keep him fresh and healthy for the home stretch.

This offense is like a well oiled machine. Speight is on fire. His elusiveness in the pocket and the throws on the move are unbelievable. He is a smaller version of Big Ben. The rushing TD was awesome. I have a lot of confidence for THE GAME

I don't know that there is much to really critique today - on the ground, 273 yards on 39 carries, which is good for 7.00 yards per attempt on the nose, spurred on in no small part by De'Veon Smith's 119 yards and 3 TDs.

Maryland's pass defense was OK by the numbers....until today. 19/24 and 362 yards from Wilton Speight, good for 15.08 yards per attempt and 19.05 yards per completion.

Michigan football is fun again, like laugh out loud fun. Except for a brief blip in 2011, I can't remember a team that's just so thoroughly entertaining.
