Marvin Robinson to FSU

No, not Florida State, Jack.  Marvin will be taking his talents to Big Rapids.  Another one for Tony & the boys.  Good Luck @ Ferris State Marvin!

Wow. And has Ringer been confirmed to be going to Ferris too? They might have an awfully good defense. Both of those guys probably could've started for other BCS teams and now they're going to be playing DII. I hope they can both succeed out there, I'll be rooting for Ferris now

Will do, he has asked what people have said, I told him everyone wishes him the best, and he really appreciates it. He truly lives Michigan, Its crazy how a kid from Florida loves it so much in Michigan, but Michiganders flee to Florida.

When I see the OP's username, I think a lot of things.  Rot in purgatory, rust in pieces,  recovering "innocent" perpetrators,  etc.

Good luck Marvin!

Isn't that where Ringer went? Edit: Nevermind, when I first logged on it only showed the OP, no other comments. I will proceed to shutting up.

Devil's Advocate question: would he have been better off to finish his M degree than play a season at Ferris? I don't think it is unfair to say he is very unlikely to make The Show. No disrespect to FSU but a Michigan degree would probably serve him better in the long run. I appreciate he wants to compete and have that final season of meaningful PT but needs to weigh that against the rest of his life. Not an easy decision. That being said I certainly wish him great success.

Why are players choosing Ferris over GVSU? It seems like GVSU would be the more desirable option due to their national name recognition and success at sending guys to the NFL. Also GVSU would give you a good chance to win a National Championship.

I went to GV from 2007-2011. I got there right when the glory days ended :(

I hope they can find a new coach that can get GV football back to always winning the GLIAC and winning Championships.

GV!

SU!

Go Lakers!

Also, best of luck to Mr. Robinson at FSU (except against GVSU, of course).
