Congrats to him, hope he does well on the next level.
As a Cowboys fan who is keeping his expectations low until Jerry Jones is 6-feet-under, I can tell you the Cowboys' collection of safeties is pedestrian at best -- they haven't had any quality at the position since Darren Woodson hung up his cleats. Barry Church is serviceable but not spectacular; J.J. Wilcox showed some promise as a rookie last year but we'll see if he can put it all together consistently. Beyond that, there's Jeff Heath, a heady guy who's usually in the right place but doesn't have the athletic ability to make plays on the ball, and Matt Johnson, a 2012 fourth rounder who is made of glass - he's played in 2 preseason games in two years. I can easily see Robinson bumping Johnson or Heath off the roster and becoming a key special teams piece, and who knows, he might even be able to challenge Church or Wilcox for some playing time.
He went to Ferris for last year of eligibility
Exact same path Michael Cox took
...or he'd inform you that Michael Cox was drafted...
In the 7th round, pick 253.
I wasn't sleeping. I was at the movies with Kate Upton.
