Martell Webb Throws Down the Gauntlet...
...to the Michigan fanbase.
@WorldWideWebb80 Michigan Fans I Need One Big Commitment For The Season. Since We Have The Biggest Stadium In The World. Let's Try To Be The Loudest Stadium In The World. Every Game!!!
Let's take him up on the challenge.
Martell Webb
Count on it.
...will be the loudest 'my living room' in the whole apartment.
BOOYEAH.
No prob, Marty. In fact, I'm quitting my job to take part in your challenge.
Hail.
Seriously?
Well my fiancée found out her mom is really sick so she moved back home to be with her/take care of her. I've been looking for work but told myself Aug 27th is my last work day, one way or another.
So if you're asking her, no. If you're asking me....I plead the fifth.
Where are you looking to move anyway (maybe we can help...) ?
I'm sure I'll be alright. I'm looking to move back to the AA/Metro-Detroit area, actually.
Maybe if I get desperate enough I'll solicit a job on the board.
I'm a recruiter with focus in IT and engineering, if that falls within your background.
Sure does. Do you have an e-mail address I could hit you up at?
Don't even have to leave to find a job
... I was still living vicariously through your "no job come football season" dream. Stick to the dream man. If you find a job, make sure it starts after the New Year's Bowls.
...once and for all that this blog is the most useful social networking site on the interweb.
a la ND '09 and I don't think noise will be an issue. Just thinking out loud here, is pounding on the glass from the suites allowed like in a hockey game? That might add more noise, but doubt they'll let it fly....
Is that the quiet ones can move inside. I doubt they'll be interested in pounding on any glass.
Hopefully their seats will be replaced by people that open their mouths and yell.
You got it, Martell.
gd right...
I doubt the fans this should be directed too ("Sit down in front!") know about Twitter, much less the internet
He should issue this message via telegram.

4-door leviathans from the 80's in the Big Boy parking lot around 4:30 p.m. During Strawberry Festival, of course.
I want a louder stadium. I am always very loud, but I hate to say this...we don't have the largest stadium in the world - just in the US for non-racing events.
Thank you for sharing your opinion, Debbie Downer.
Largest stadium, largest football stadium - whatever. The point remains the same: it should be loud at Michigan Stadium, especially now with the renovations complete.
He is of course refering to (U.S.) football stadiums, not soccer stadiums, etc..
But you have a point.
EDIT: Man Beavis beat me to it.
Whatever. JEEZE.
world's largest stadium ranked by total number of teeth in attendence, then
do you know why WS Gilbert was frequently drunk on his trans-atlantic crossings? >chuckle< Because we was quartered on the port side.
damn right. let's make the place shake.
my friend. Damn straight.
You got it. Gonna leave it all in the stadium.
Will be allowed in this case, though please note that this is an exception.
Please also ensure that a ruckus takes place, with a liberal smattering of "horsin' around" thrown in for good measure.
which is a bit of a given at this moment in time, caterwauling is an absolute must.

...a kerfuffle or a hurly burley may be appropriate as well.
If you have any voice left at all on Monday/people don't ask you if you have a sore throat, you weren't loud enough.
After the Notre Dame game last year my voice was gone for over a week, to the point where we were getting concerned about it. I regret nothing.
I'm "all in" as the kids are saying it.
and you will hear me all the way from Dallas!
I love your spirit Martell and I'll do the very best I can to do my part but if I may ask one thing from you in return could you please FIGURE OUT HOW TO CATCH THE DAMN BALL PLZKTHX
I will play Hail To The Victors even louder through my surround after each touchdown. My neighbors will really hate me now. As i play it pretty loud already. I also yell at the tv during games so my apartment is pretty loud already.
Consider it done Martell.
That and maybe we can all yell louder...
Done
Now, Martell, I have a challenge for you: Surpass your career totals in catches this season. I've got a lot of mgopoints riding on it.
Heh. Reminds me of an exchange with my wife:
Wife: If the stadium capacity is 107,501 how do they know that there are 110,000 people there?
Me: They count the legs of everyone entering the stadium and divide by two.
Result: no nookie.
