Sneaky Pete could definitely make a last minute push for Parker. Not what I like to hear. With all the talk about parker though it seems like people haven't been mentioning Knight lately. What are the odds we get at least one of him and Parker?

however, if parker is remotely concerned with usc's depth chart all he has to go do is go to scout.com, click on usc, then commits, filter for 2009 and see that they had four safeties ranked in the top 6 in the country. they are stacked at the position while michigan could use a tad bit of help at that spot.

I would think that it wouldn't be the players at a specific recruits age that would put them off in terms of chosing a school, but more the talent that is already in the fold with a head start that gives them pause. I think Parker (and probably most high profile recruits) are fine going up against competition of the same age and experience. It is the players one year older with time already in the system and the potential of playing behind them until your senior year that would put me off. USC has that......a few high profile safeties going into their soph or RS frosh years. UM has a couple bodies, but (no offense to them) I don't see them scaring anyone who watched a single game last year off.
