Congrats Mario! I am getting more and more excited about the AAA game as more commits get chosen to play in it. I think we will have a few more Wolverines get picked to keep Mr Ojemudia company while at the AAA game, and also to help recruit the last player or two to fill out the recruiting class(asuming its not completely full by then). Does anyone know if he got picked as a DE or LB? At the camp, they said he was one of the better LB's, but we're obviously trying him out as a DE. Any insight as to what he'll play at the AAA game?
He plays DL in high school, so I imagine they'd have him play on the line for the AAA game. It's one thing to have a player learn a new position over a year or two, it's another to ask him to do it in a month or two, without actually having a team to practice with.
He's only listed as 215 pounds so I wouldn't be surprised if they tried him as an outside linebacker. Either way, this is a big honor for a player and he should see his stock rise as a result of it.
