March Madness streams for international viewers?

Last year was a beautiful March - CBS streaming all the games for free, for anyone around the world.

This year, CBS/TNT/TBS/TruTV is streaming their games for free, but only if you are a cable subscriber.  NCAA has all the games for $3.99 - beautiful.... except this won't work for all countries.  I'm in South Korea and this deal won't work here.  I've tried to sign up while shielding my IP address, but NCAA won't allow.

Do any international MgoBlogers have an easy solution to the streams (besides the standard Firstrowsports, etc...)?

Go Blue.

right, besides the standard streams used throughout the year - does anyone know how to access the NCAA ALL-GAMES HIGH-QUALITY streaming for international viewers?  Is there a magical work-around that will help me avoid the stress of testing endless low-quality streams for each damn game to find a semi-decent one (before it gets shut down)?

As I wrote in lthe OP and my comment, I'm not looking for the standard streaming sites - I'm sure I know them all too well.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a way to access the special March Madness streams from NCAA or CBS, etc. if you live outside the country.  Those streams are so much better, you can keep tabs on scores, switch between games instantly, watch replays, etc.  It's the way online sports should be broadcasted!  So much better than the lower-quality streams that I usually have to fish for.

So, anyone know how to access these US-IP-domain-only streams?  Again, hiding my IP address doesn't work.

I used to stream ESPN3 through a proxy server because my ISP didn't provide it.  That would get you a work around here, but due to bandwidth constraints it's unlikely that the streaming would be good enough.

I'm no expert but I don't think there's really any option for you to stream a US-IP only feed with any viewable quality

Edit: If you do want to try the proxy route, it's quite easy to set-up.  I think you may have to use IE or Firefox.  Just google for a list of proxy sites, find one that uses a US IP address, and then configure your browser to use that proxy

Also, what do you mean by "hiding" your IP address?  That's basically what proxy servers do - the idea is that the servers streaming the games think they are sending content to a US-based IP, when in some sense the proxy is forwarding the content back to you

One way to try is to buy a VPN service, strongVPN, $55 dollar a year, that gives you a US IP and hope it would work.

If it's a country thing, you can try http://hidemyass.com/. It's not free, but it's excellent and I use it to watch Netflix, Hulu and to circumvent France's super strict anti-piracy laws.

Basically it's an application and a bunch of private proxy servers located in many different countries. Lots of servers in the US, I have no problems streaming through it.
