I dont think its fake becasuse unless he's a TOTAL troll (which i dont think he would be in this situation because as mentioned above, it doesn't/shouldn't really matter to him whether or not 'Baugh comes here) so why would he stick his neck out on his own twitter for a fabricated converstation threw text? It would just ruin his credibility

Ok listen up, I have the same iPhone 6 and when I text and receive replies it does the same thing. Look at the blue threads. See how the blue changes from light blue to dark blue as you read up and down. This is legit as my phone does the exact same thing as the blue colors change depending on location of the text! Just an fyi

Not saying this is fake, but there are literally a dozen sites out there that you can use to create fake iPhone text convos, you can change anything from the number of bars to battery life to replicate the real thing. I know cause I used it to create a slide show for my brother in law's wedding.

I dont see why marcellus wiley has any incentive to make this up. he has a good gig showing up on various espn shows. he has no journalism role to go find news -- he is just a talking head there. i cant see any motive for him BSing about somethingnlike this -- no upside. he is just saying what he is being told. whether his sources are right is a whole other matter.

but the contract must be signed.

FWIW, Sam Webb indicated we have been here before with Harbaugh in 2011. Depending on who you believe either JH backout in the last minute or Michigan never made a final offer at that time.

is that those close to JH and those close to DB have completely different stories as to what happened.

DB thought he had him locked down and then Harbaugh flaked out at the last minute.

JH thought there was never a serious offer and got tired of waiting (and apparently a friend warned him off about DB).

Common denominator seems to be lack of communication and attention to detail, parts of DB's MO.

This is a guy who grew up in Compton and made it to the Ivy League (Columbia).  He's not exactly the epitome of naivete.  I don't think people realize how prominent he is on ESPN and ESPN LA, I don't see him risking his career to essentially fabricate information.  I'm not saying the info is right, but I don't doubt this is what he has from whoever his source is.
