Manny Update - Getting Better

Submitted by mGrowOld on

In his best game as a pro (so far) Manny Harris scores 19 with 8 rebounds and ALMOST leads the Cavs to their first win in 2011.

Alas....not to be.  The mighty Indiana Pacers vanquished the team from the land of Cleve 117-112.

It's getting really depressing watching this Cavs team.  I do however enjoy watching Harris play.  You can tell he wants it and wants it bad.  The only thing he's doing that is annoying the piss out of me is launching up many ill advised 3's.  That being said, I can't blame him because this team needs to learn how to score consistantly.

Manny shot 42% from the floor, and he definitely took some bad shots tonight, while Indiana's backcourt got and made almost any shot they wanted. He's shown flashes of belonging in the league, but he's shooting under 40% with a pretty poor a/t ratio and his defense is easily subpar. He's got a long way to go. If he wasn't on the worst team in the league that was trying to get the #1 pick, he probably wouldn't be playing.

who thought that Evan Turner would not be a good pro in the next level due to his lack of elite skill set that would help him in the NBA.  Evan is jack of all trade but master of none.  He's not a great athlete, not a great shooter but he does it just enough to get by.

Manny has the ability to blow by defenders with ease which is an elite skill set that would help Manny out in the next level.
