Hopefully he catches on someplace else, but I can't help but think it's a bad sign if you can't make the roster of one of the ~5 worst teams in the league.  Best of luck to the kid.

EDIT: Seems he had an injury of some sort that limited his practice time, which obviously may have influenced this decision.

Nonsense.  A waste of money.  Just use a ziplock freezer bag and a straw to suck out all the air before you zip it up all the way and it works just as good (except when it doesn't).  However, I wouldn't recommend this method for taking air out of large vacuum storage bags.  Will cause a fainting spell or 3.

Proly not.....

My guess is that he went out saying

No...I'm serious I've got freezer burn on my foot.  NO....I'm NOT KIDDING...I've got fucking freezer burn.   Why is everybody laughing?  Like you guys have never gotten freezer burn on your feet before.   THIS IS NOT FUNNY - would you guys please stop laughing?

Please?

If Corperrayle didn't leave prematurely, we probably don't have the (unexpectedly) good season we had last year as he, not D-Mo, probably would have dominated the ball.  Of course, we might still have an under the radar D-Mo on the roster...and maybe Trey Burke wouldn't be talked about as a possible early entry right now.  Manny Harris decision is still having repercussions around here, crazyness.

Not trying to be a downer, I didn't say they were all negative repercussions! Just my opinion, but I don't think the team would have been as good with him last year as they were without him, and I'm not sure Trey isn't going to be the best of them all by the time all is said and done.

He was "icing" his foot in some kind of high tech "cooling chamber" at the Nike campus while working out there before training camp began.

Nike should be preparing the settlement money now, as Manny's contract was not guaranteed, and this undoubtedly cost him an NBA minimum contract.

He should land somewhere.  The kid can play in the NBA, and young guys will be in hot demand given the compressed timeframe of the season and the need to have guys who can play 66 games in a couple of months.
