Make Munn "Yost West" Tonight

Submitted by JeepinBen on

Lots of tickets still available. Wondering what to do on a cold friday night? Drive up to Munn, remind them that they didn't get into college, bring some cowbells and get a shout out from John Buccigross, who's calling the game on ESPN U

Tickets as low as $10. You're in college, go road trip. Go Blue

Idk if any of you guys were/are hockey players, but Munn is as awful to play at as it is to watch a game at. The benches on opposite sides from one another is the dumbest design, too.

Regularly skate at Munn as work has relocated me to the area. Since the recent renovation the rink is 100% better (not saying much, I know). The new lighting, boards, and glass make it at least better.

As for the benches, it is a big home ice advantage. One your penalty box is next to your bench, opposed to across the ice.

In any given 2-year period, the teams are supposed to play 3 times in East Lansing, 3 in Ann Arbor and 2 in Detroit (not counting GLIs or conference tournaments).

Thanks to Dave Brandon, that turned into 3 in East Lansing, 2 in Detroit, 2 in Ann Arbor and 1 in Chicago, Illinois.
