I can tell you for certain that Paea can compete at Michigan. He's at that level.

Spenner is definitely D1 material, but probably not at Michigan level. I see him at a solid MAC program. But he's a hard-working kid. You never know he may get a lot faster in the off-season and pick up a Michigan offer if he camps well.

and probably for good reason. Increased speed. I am not certain if it can be accomplished in an offseason, but I know it exists. Coaches do, of course, look at both parents and if capable will take in all the photos on the mantel to get some idea of what size the young man might grow into naturally and they are certain they can add weight and muscle where needed.

However I doubt there is any way science can predict an increase in speed, but based on the one person I am certain of, myself, I know I took off .2 from the time I graduated (at age 17) and the two and a half years prior to being released from the Army. At that time, track was still using the yardage, instead of metric system but I went from 10.2 a school record that still stands to 10 flat. Hell, I didn't know I had even gained that much speed until my teammates on a softball team, many of who were also my high school football team mates told me it was obvious. Finally, I summoned up enough courage to visit a track practice and asked the track coach if he would time a couple of us in the 100 yd dash. I  have no idea how that translates into meters, but i do know I am very impressed when a young man turns in a 10.6 100 meters because I believe that is, at minimum, 10 yds farther. And the thought of players such as Peppers and Robinson becoming markedly faster normally remains just that, a thought.

I can see how a large person losing weight might equal qucker times. Additionally, I put on 3 inches of height and twenty lbs of good weight so I guess its possible increased strength was a factor as well. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar. I have wondered about what that additional year in school might have resulted in toward sports performance. I know it certainly could not have hurt.

Would love to see one of them commit to us real early on like McCaffery and help recruit the others, that would be ideal.

It's not necessarily a random Wednesday. There's a basketball game against Northwestern.

Michigan was supposed to have a big junior day for the MSU basketball game a couple weekends ago, but it fizzled out a bit for a couple reasons. So rather than having a big junior day, it appears the coaches are trying to get kids on campus in smaller groups.

I just added DPJ, I. Wilson, JKP, and Kaindoh to our 247 class calculator. Don't they know what they can do for us in that regard? I like the fact we are building relationships with the local talent. This is hopefully the first of many visits for all of them.

I know how most people feel about bleacher report but I saw an article posted on there that Kaindoh is heavily looking into the top schools from the north...and is looking for "the best blend of academics and athletics." Has interest in becoming a Dr. And Looking to go into kinesiology, neurology or pathology...hmm mm to me sounds like we will be in it till the very end
