I'm NOT OK with Ohio's making the Rose Bowl because that means they will have won the Big Ten title, which M has not done since 2004. We need to win the conference THIS year. It's unacceptable to go almost a decade without winning a conference title.

with I just don't see us beating them two weeks in a row should we face them twice. It's hard enough to do it once especially at the end but twice? That's a tall order for them also.

Yes, it would be hard. That being said, I am perfectly OK losing to them in Ann Arbor so long as we beat them the following week, which is obviously the more important game (assuming we play them twice).

I think that MSU is the big wildcard in the B1G this year.  They don't play any of the main contenders in the Leaders (OSU, PSU or Wisky).  Even if they lose 2/3 to Northwestern, Nebraska and Michigan.....it could put them in good position in the Legends.  If they win 2/3, they have a good shot at going to the B1G Championship game (depending on who they lose to).

I think that Michigan will have the best record within the Legends.....but they REALLY have to win the OSU game.

With all due respect to MaizenBlueNation.com, these projections are the same old projections every pundit has been putting out for weeks.  Ohio first, Michigan second, NW third and so on and so on.  I think it's lazy blogging/psuedo-journalism.  I feel like a sucker for clicking on the link.

What's the new twist that remotely could be construed as original content?  Michigan goes to an at-large BCS game after losing to Ohio in Indy after winning The Game in Ann Arbor?  Wake me up when someone picks a team other than Ohio to win that other division with the other silly name.

Well many blogs and news outlets post this stuff simply for web site hits, to get their names out there, and to get people like us talking about their posts. Mission accomplished in this case. This happens annually; we see the same or similar predictions from countless sites got about a month prior to the season. It is exciting at first, but after a week or two I get sick of it. I just wait for the season to start, which, thankfully, is this week.

I think NW is being overrated.  Well, maybe they're properly rated on talent but I think the expectations are unrealistic given the schedule.  It's hard to see less than 4 losses in these games: at Cal, Ohio at home, at Wisconsin, at Iowa, at Nebraska, and then Michigan & MSU at home.

At Cal should be a win. They went 3-9 last year, have a true freshman starting QB, and a 1st year HC.

Northwesterns offense should give Ohio State some problems, and we needed a Hail Mary to beat them. They only lost to Nebraska by 1 point, and the year before they went into Lincoln and won. Wisconsin has a new coach, no clear cut QB; Michigan State has questions on Offense, and Northwestern has had Iowa's number the last few years.

I'm not saying NU should go 14-0, but of the teams you listed, they should be favored for Cal, Iowa, MSU. I'd put Ohio State and UM at about even, and away at Wisconsin and Nebraska they'll definitely be the underdogs

I know everyone agrees Bielema is a meathead and a meh coach, but Wisconsin was pretty mediocre last year and they just lost their all-everything back.  Sure, they might be competent this year, but pegging them 5th seems a bit high.

Otherwise, expected predictions are predictable.
