Maize or Blue?
Watching the hockey game from Wisconsin, I thought that the Blue uniforms are far sharper than the Maize ones. I would like to see the white uniforms at home, and the blue ones on the road. That would leave the Maize uniforms to be worn only for special games or real maize outs. I wonder what the football team would look like dressed in Maize at Maize out games?

How is this OT?

Wrong and false. I like the maize hockey jerseys much better than the blues. I think the block M logo just doesn't work well on a college hockey uniform--I love the whole school name spelled out, like on the Maize or white sweaters. As for maize football uniforms--never. ever.
Not OT, by the way. It's Michigan sports on a, you know, Michigan sports blog.

No one will ever know because once you lay your eyes on them, you will instantly go blind for the rest of life.

I have always been a strong RR supporter, but if he ever suggested doing something this perverse I would immediately pay a visit to Ann Arbor Torch & Pitchfork.

Especially with the script Michigan. There's just something so classy about that...

No, not really.
While maize looks good as a hockey and baskeball jersey, it just doesn't work as a football jersey. If you doubt me, take a look at West Virgina's yellow gear. Just plain horrible. (Sorry, I haven't figured out how you kids post pictures. No, I don't want to know, and get off my lawn!)

With all respect to the OP, we all know were this thread ends. So, let me pose a related question: Do you personally like to wear blue Michigan gear or the newer Maize stuff?
When I was at U of M (early 90s), there was no maize stuff to be had, save for the Fab Five's shorts. People wore blue Michigan stuff. (An exception was the popular grey Champion "reverse weave" sweatshirt. Even them, most in-staters like myself opted for the blue version.) Blue is old school. It was what Bo wore. In fact, I just visted Moe's and picked up a blue "reverse weave" hoodie. (Funny though, they must make them smaller than they used to . . .)

Not that I support Maize uniforms, but my favorite Michigan shirt at this juncture is my long sleeve, Maize basketball t-shirt. (Scooped it up for 10 bucks on clearance. I also an old school #10 Nike replica football jersey for 10 bucks in East Lansing.)
