I'm seriously doubting it, but I did find the following:

The 1964 Wolverines posted a 9-1-0 record en route to their 21st Big Ten Championship and a Rose Bowl victory over Oregon State. The "Blue" were coached by College Football Hall of Famer—Chalmers ‘Bump’ Elliott who at age 34, became Michigan's football coach. He served 10 years as Michigan’s sideline boss. http://www.collegefootball.org/famersearch.php?id=40051

The Michigan uniform featured below consisted of a maize (yellow) jersey with blue numerals on the front and back and an ‘M’ on each sleeve. Players also wore maize pants and blue helmets with maize wing and stripes and their uniform number on each side.

The action shot in the PDF version is in black and white, so it's useless, but i'll share anyway.

As a secondary question, can someone explain why we're not wearing the 1891 model against ND? We didn't play them in '91, but we would have killed them if we did.

Somewhere, Dayne Crist is begging you to take that back.

Seriously though, we might as well go all out. I don't want to see some stupid uniform like OSU wore last year. Or, because I know you watched it profit, both teams in the Backyard Brawl. I'd rather see them wear something that Yost thought was old-school.

Who says they aren't wearing 1891 jerseys for the Notre Dame game....not saying you are right but if I could say you would be closer than the people thinking they are wearing normal home attire.

That would be my good friend George S. Holden.

But boy did we have some wild times.  I remember them as days of felicity where we would imbibe Fredrick Miller's High Life in such quantities that we would would be unable to fornicate with the fair maidens of Ann Arbor.

wore these this year against the 9ers...I like them but I think I'm in the minority as far as Packer fans.

The brown helmets represent the old leather ones...heres what these bad boys are based on.

And if you, my friend, are a minority-you would be the only Packers fan who is one.

As  a bears fan, I'm legally required to hate every design of the packers. However, I did really like the orange and navy bears throw-backs they wore a while ago.

Would love to see us go back to the 2004 road unis.   Which reminds me-- it's time for my annual hand written letter urging us to go back to a more traditional road uniform.   I can't stand the road uniforms now.  We look like Toledo or West Virgina.

Out of the top 10 winningest programs, we're the only one that has "piping" and other gimmicky features to our road unis.  Why would we not want to identify wtih the blue bloods of college football?

I agree.  Fortunately, some of the practice shots seem to suggest that we may be going away from that look.  There are photos of players wearing what look like game jerseys, but without that ugly curved stripe.

The maize jerseys in that '64 graphic were worn in practice only.  The people who made that graphic got it wrong and assumed they were game jerseys.  I think MVictors or someone else on the blogosphere asked Jim Conley about it before he passed and he clarified that they were never used in a game.

we wear maize jerseys in basketball and hockey, and I'd say they are both very popular.  I think we could rock them on the road, because I don't think anyone has any attachment to the road uniforms, especially since they've switched them so many times anyways.

I'm not saying we go all crazy like this or anything.....

, but make the whole jersey maize with blue numbers with white piping... i think we may be in business.  hell, make them wear black socks and black cleats.

The captain of the 65 team is a good friend of mine and he swears they only wore maize jerseys in practice. I have a poster that he actually gave me that has the 64 maize jersey on it, but he is very convinving in that it was never worn in a game.
