I saw footage of her a couple years ago on a "Before they were famous" show. There were a couple photos of her on campus and then her dancing with the caption 'University of Michigan' at the bottom.
She looked like this when she was a student...

And I've seen her senior picture (very similar to that). I had a few teachers who were teaching there when she was, and they all said she was a great student a good girl (whatever that means). She was a cheerleader/dancer.

I went to both grade school (Webster Elementary in Pontiac) and college with Madonna. She was in Mr Whited class at Webster and I was in Miss Martin's. I thought she lived on North Campus but I freely admit I could be wrong.

I have always, always wondered if the Dons was a UM fan. She never seemed very sports-centric, although she did date a Yankee (A Rod? Jeter? I forget). She didn't go to UM very long, so I thought maybe she wasnt a FAN.
Glad to see I was wrong!
(I was a sophomore at UM when her song "True Blue" came out. It has nothing to do with sports or UM. But it made me wonder if it had some inside meaning to her... I mean, she hasn't done a song with "Green" or "Scarlet" in the title.)
