Sucks he not only chooses someone else, but a conference foe. Hopefully this doesn't hurt our chances with Armani Reeves.
...I thought he would wait a while...guess not.
Next...
I thought Penn State doesn't start recruiting until October? What is this?
Damn....thought we had a good chance with him.
I thought he was committing to us. This is a big surprise. So, i guess no Reeves either.
This is because our staff feels they have a shot at RJS, Biggs and Ringer as our LB class and they didn't press him too hard on his visit. Surprising to lose one this early, but still a chance at getting the aforementioned 3.
I like the thought but seems unlikely. Especially with the Reeves factor.
I don't think we'll get RJS, he reminds me too much of RoJo. Seems like he just wants to go to a dominant team like Alabama or Oklahoma like RoJo wanted to go to USC when they were dominating.
You don't seem to have a very good grasp on the Rojo story. He had family and advisors trying to convince him to go to MSU and he wanted to go to Michigan. He chose USC as a compromise.
pride from getting offers from those schools with a blanket desire to leave Michigan.
I'm hoping for RJS and Ringer as well. But I have to ask who is Biggs? I hope this is a nickname for James Ross because he is another LB that I would like to get. I think we offered Deaysean Rippy fairly early, and he is another LB I hope we stand a chance with, but since I haven't heard much about him is it safe to assume our chances with him are lower?
How many spots do we have for LBs? My best guess is three at the most. I like all of those you listed, but I think Rippy is a longshot

Biggs = James Ross
Williams said he was waiting till June. He must have been blown away by PSU.
Hmm....well that sucks...
Give credit to PSU though, they do a pretty good job recruiting considering their head coach may or may not actually have a pulse.
At least he had a good visit while he was here!? Searching for a positive
yeah this is kinda weird. Not that he picked Penn State but just the timing. I shouldn't be surprised at anything happening in recruiting, though.
Yeah, the timing seems a little weird to me. I thought he wasn't going to commit so soon and I thought we were going to get him to campus at least another time before he committed anywhere.
I don't think this is over.
Cool Story Hansel
Of our current +/- 13 linebacker offers several will go our way...
Best of luck in Happy Valley Camren.
Camren committing was a surprise, huh? He had major Michigan connections and seemed to enjoy his visit. Any read on this one? Could it have been something Michigan decided? Seems unlikely.
It's just speculation, but the staff might be waiting to see what happens with other recruits on the board.

I hate Penn State and Baseball Cards

CAMREN: I'm really down to Michigan, Maryland, Penn State, North Carolina, and Wake Forest. This was the first visit and then I'm going to Penn State next week, North Carolina on the 9th, and then Wake Forest that same weekend. I also know that I'm going to be back up to Michigan for another visit too.

Does his commitment to Penn State prevent him from going to North Carolina, Wake Forest, and back to Michigan?

Sucks to miss out on prospects but there are many quality LB on the board especially in Michigan, I won't lose much sleep with this one.
