Huge escape in the first inning after Betsa walks the first two batters and hits another. No runs allowed. Let's go BLUE

at Alumni Field for this game?  I'm "sorta" watching the game on BTN while trying to get some chores done and have heard them playing a few times, but haven't seen them on camera.

P.S.:  End of 2nd, still leading 2-0

Ugh! Bases loaded 2 outs an the slapper for W puts down a bunt that everyone tries to field and no one stays at a base to get anyone out! M leads 2-1. She strikes out next batter. Heading to bottom of 3

Bases loaded, no outs. Go BLUE! Edit to add: Sweet at the plate. Sweet with the shallow fly to left the fielder can't get to. 2 runs in. 5-1 blue!

with runners on 2nd and 3rd and one down.

(edit: a little late on my part with that score update, blame it on flipping channels back and forth to the Tigers @ Royals game.  3-0 Detroit in that one in the bottom of the 6th, Smyly pitching great.)

Smyly and Jaba combined for a 2-hit shutout through 8, then Phil Coke came in to give the Royals an inning of batting practice in the 9th, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits.

Can we get rid of Coke already???

laptop and about to stomp the hell out of it in frustration.  Spent about 3 hours last night and another 3-4 hours this morning getting it back up to speed by rippin' and tearin' out obsolete programs, updating every anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-everything-bad program and running every possible clean-up utility.   Finally, it runs (almost) like new again.

So, yeah.  weak sauce.  Whatever you want to call it, guilty as charged, I guess.

I was watching but was too stunned to participate.  This was soooo much better and the 3rd series in a row where they've lost the first game badly.  I do love to watch softball though!
