M Softball Crushes Villanova 9-0, now 18-0, ranked #5
Jordan Taylor was on the rubber today and pitched 5 innings, giving up 0ER on only 2 hits. She struck out 6 and walked 2. Another great outing for JT. She is truely a lights out pitcher, maybe one of hte best ever for Michigan. She continues to impress and will certainly get All-American honors if she continues to pitch like this.
The offense was led by my pre-season All-american selection Ashley Lane. Ashley had a HR and went 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored.
Dorian Shaw also had a dinger (1 for 2) so her and Ashley are tied with the team lead at 8. Nicole Sappingfield went 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored.
Game time temperature was 79 degrees with full sunshine and a slight breeze.
I think another mercy rule win deserves a little yakety sax. BlueDragon? How about it?
