M-Lax now 6-0
Michigan defeated BYU (a very good team in MCLA) 16-6 tonight. Michigan won in every catergory for the game. Michigan opened up the game on a 9-0 run, those not used to the game this is an amazing start, similar to a 20-0 start in basketball i would compare it to.
Michigan will take on Pitt tomorrow night in AA. Pitt is 5-1 on the season, there one lost came against #25 Central Flordia. I assume that this should be another blowout in favor of the Blue, but stranger things have happened.

I love it when Michigan beats a rival school. (Random fact: in the collegiate choral world, BYU is considered one of Michigan's rivals.) Good stuff.
No offense to Pitt, but if BYU can't get any closer than 10 goals, they won't get any closer than 20. A lot of people were predicting an upset last night for the cougs...not so much

I had the pleasure of attending last night. First time I've seen this year's team live. Incredible start put the game away early. BYU was HUGE and seemed pretty athletic. One of their midfielders was listed as 6-6, 235 and a bunch of guys 6-3, 220 and over. Quite a few small, quick waterbugs too, but Michigan ran by them and was more physical.
If you haven't been out to see the lacrosse team play yet, go. It's a great atmosphere, they are really good for their level, and it's a fun sport to watch. Fast moving, high scoring, very physical. I'm saying that as someone who discovered the sport fairly recently and has become a bit fanatical about it.

Teams that win 3 national championships consecutively usually are pretty good.
