walton, irvin and levert have not gotten any better this year.  really needed a leap out of a couple of those guys.  it's going to be a long strange year.  we will lose to more bad teams but have a few good games when they hit their 3s and have some upsets.  bubble team at best.

I don't know what you're watching, but they've all made improvements. Walton is obviously more confident, even with his bad toe he's a better player. Irvin's shot is still hot AND he's added driving the ball to his set of skills. Levert is all around bigger and stronger, he's driving more and leads the team in most stats. He's just had some cold days shooting and some questionable turnovers. It's just that none of them have made that ridiculous jump we grew accostumed to.

I wouldn't put too much stock in shooting over a few weeks. It's not an indication of how good they are, even Stauskas had shooting droughts. They were all pretty decent shooting at the beginning of the season btw. As for Levert, I mentioned he's made more dumb turnovers but keep in mind that he handles the ball more this year. Even if he has regressed in that area, he improved or remained steady in pretty much every other area. This is backed up by actual stats.

I don't know man.  There's cold shooting nights and then there's getting beat by the teams we've gotten beat by.  Penn St. 2 years ago at the end of the season was a cold night with everything going Penn. St.'s way.  That was Penn State, a bad team but still a Big Ten team.  Then there's NJIT, Eastern Michigan, and SMU.  These players may have progressed but not very much/not as much as needed.  The lack of a truly efficient big man of course hurts them also.

At least they didn't blow the 60% from 3 game tonight. As good as these guys are individually, and as bad as they have shot recently, you just know one of those games are coming soon.

This team looks really good and then really unorganized/sloppy at other times. Was hoping for a reload but looks like a rebuild. Still have confidence in this coaching staff though. Doyle reminds me of a cross between Mcgary and Laimbeer. Maybe the badboys 30 for 30 has something to do with the latter comparison.
