M Hockey vs Cornell
Hockey this time @MSG.
Supposedly on FSD+, but I've still got college football, which I'm not happy about.

Guh. 5-7-1 with the roughest part of their schedule in the second half of the season. Hopefully the GLI can spark them like it did last season or else that 23rd straight tourny appearance is in trouble.

Yay, game finally over, they won't score on us no more. 5-1 final, FML.

I know we always make the tournament but our return vs the level of talent we have is poor

Something is off. Whether Mel Pearson meant alot more to this program than we though, or the tactics or training is off or what, I don't know. But this is like 4 of the last 5 seasons we have started pretty slow, this season being the worst of it.

I'll take it. Michigan better get the win Tuesday or I may just cry. I can't take all of this.

Cornell looked much more interested in being there tonight, and I was disappointed with how little puck control Michigan had. Trouba looked impressive in person, but this team has a long way to go.
I have to admit that I was bummed that we did not have a pep band there, as it was rather odd to not hear "The Victors" played once. The Michigan tournout was solid, but a band would have been a huge boon for us.
The tournament streak could be in serious jeapordy if we don't start scoring a little more consistently.
