M Hockey: Rutledge, Racine, Janecyk to split time in net tomorrow night

Just saw it come across my twitter from Michael Spath of The Wolverine.

From Red Berenson today: Jared Rutledge, Steve Racine and Adam Janecyk will each get a period in net in Tuesday night's exhibition.

In yesterday's Blue-White game, the Blue team picked up the 4-2 win. Guptill had a hat trick for the Blue team and Derek DeBlois had 1 goal. Mike Knuble scored both goals for White. Really couldn't tell much from a scrimmage of course. Especially when you have NHL players in there.

But I must say, this goaltender situation does concern me. I've been hearing Rutledge was the guy ever since he signed and now they are going to each get a period. I know it's only an exhibition game, but Michigan has tomorrow night, Thursday, Friday and next Friday to figure this out before conference play starts.

Very excited though for the start of Michigan Hockey season. So much to prove in the final year of the CCHA. I'm gonna miss the conference and going to the JLA for the Playoffs, as it has become a yearly tradition with my father who I don't talk to very much. But it's time to move on.

Game tomorrow will be on Xfinity TV (formerly Comcast TV) Channel 900 in Ann Arbor and SE Michigan and 7:35pm against Windsor. Go Blue!

Being at the Blue White scrimmage, it was weird seeing all the goalies with their shoulder pads above the cross bar. That being said the position players looked good and I have quite a bit of confidence that once Rutledge gets back to form after the eye surgery it is his job to lose. I wouldn't mind going with the 2010 strategy of Friday night Racine and Saturday night Rutledge until a starter emerges.
