Another forgettable Friday night, so we're going for a split tonight /sigh.

But it starts out 0-0. Let's get an early goal.

Hey, all those calling for Red's head, maybe just relax a bit. He's on his way out as it is and we have tons of youth matriculating into the lines. Let's allow the season to play out a bit longer before we castrate one of the best coaches in the history of hockey--like the sport.

For a while I said the talent on the team surely will come around and we'll perform better but it didn't get any better either of the last two seasons and it won't get better this year. Barring a sudden turnaround (which would be very uncharacteristic of this program) this team will miss the tournament too

This is just a poorly coached program

We had a two men advantage and did nothing... now another penalty on us.

PS-Anyone else hearing an echo on the radio stream? Sounds like they have the Tech announcers on delay or something.

2 of the big three sports here need coaching changes.

Pearson is the obvious choice. The only doubts I had about him were due to his record at Tech coming into this year. Don't look now, but Tech is the best team in the state of Michigan now.

The upside is that I'm now super impressed with what Mel Pearson has done at Michigan Tech. In just a few years he's turned them from an absolute bottom-dweller to starting the season with sweeps of LSSU, Ferris, and Michigan. I hope Mel keeps tearing it up and Red realizes that 3 years removed from the tournament is unacceptable while bringing in the best recruits in the conference. Red is a legend, but if this doesn't say "it's time to hang 'em up" then I don't know what does.
