We just rake in the talent in hockey. Most other CCHA schools would love to get even 1 guy at the skill level of anyone from our normal recruiting classes

Trouba - 1st
PDG - 2nd
Nieves - 2nd
K Lynch - 2nd
Merill - 2nd (obviously absent)
Guptill - 3rd
Serville - 3rd
Bennett - 3rd
Hyman - 5th
Moffie - 6th
Moffatt - 7th

And even undrafted guys like Clare, Copp, Treais and Rutledge played for the USNTDP

So talent is clearly not the flippin problem.

On the other hand, Ferris State appears to have 0 draft picks on their roster. ZERO. I'm sure RIT has zero and State probably has <5 right now and yet each of those teams just humiliated this team in one way or another. This is the equivalent of basically Alabama's roster losing to Ole Miss, then Kentucky, and then getting curb stomped by Tulane.

Something seems terribly wrong. Either the team chemistry is awful or the coaching really is suffering with Pearson's absence or the team has just given up. I don't know but I've never seen a Michigan team suck so bad for half a season
