Tough to see Utah State, Kent State, and Northern Illinois ranked ahead of M, with three of our losses against the AP Top 4, but I think I will get over it.
Missing Ann Arbor
So, losses to the #1, #2, #4 teams, the likely big ten champion, and probably playing the current #3 team in a bowl game. Yeesh
Yeah, talk about a murderer's row, but I'd much rather be playing the #3 team in a New Years bowl than a tomato can in the Jiffy Lube Bowl.
If you don't ride a camel, you ain't shi'ite.
Won't play #3 Florida, they are guaranteed to BCS at large being in top 4 and loser of bama/Georgia falling
AP voters are morons. How does Oregon FALL after a blowout win in a rivalry game?
Because they aren't SEC.
Abort, Retry, Fail?
Florida beat a better team and should've been ahead of Oregon anyway, based on resume. Oregon played 2 current top 25 teams all season and went 1-1. Despite the shiny offense, that's not impressive.
AP voters do a lot of moronic things, but having the gall to not blindly keep teams at the same ranking from week to week is not a bad quality.
We're #24 in the Coaches poll as well, andJerry Palm projects us to be at #22 in the BCS rankings per CBSSports.com. That makes some sense really, as we still maintain some fairly high rankings in the Sagarin, Massey and some other ratings sites, but we'll know for sure on the BCS this evening, of course.

Looks like Michigan is still positioned in the Top 25 in the AP and Coaches polls. ESPN pundits favor Michigan for the Capital One Bowl, where they might play Texas A&M.
It seems fitting that Denard Robinson can play against "Johnny Football" for his last collegiate football game. Happy Holidays to all!
No A.P. title for OSU it looks like, though (if Bama goes to the championship game). That makes me very happy.

If they're #4 now, this is as high as they'll be. Other teams will just pass them as they get more impressive wins. Ohio probably ends around #5/#6 in the AP poll.
I can almost guarantee you thought that Urban will get them rings anyway

Polls don't matter.
When the ADept sells special jerseys and gear, you'll see my picture next to the targeted customer crowd. A sheep.....but a Blue one.....
Why is Boise St. 25th in the AP but 15th in the Coaches? Boise has two losses. Boise did not beat a ranked team all year. They moved up seven spots in the Coaches for beating Colorado St. Meanwhile a team like Kent State has only one loss and did beat a ranked team this year in Rutgers. Yet the coaches have them ranked 19th...

Clearly, the best team that we beat.
